On January 11, 2010 a supervisory position became vacant and posted January 12, 2010. On January 14, 2010 at a public meeting of the San Diego Airport Authority some shuttle and taxis drivers inquired on who would be the supervisor and they were told two canidates had been chosen, Blair and Bradley and even told ask them who they perferred and thier choice was Bradley. Much to our amazement after hearing about this, Bradley had not applied until after the meeting had taken place.
The position had certain requirements that had to be met and one was computer skills, neither one had experience and the Hr department did not evaluate them on the computer but required the women to be evaluated. Not only were these people chosen as canidates, the HR department along with the customer service manager continued this forest and scam in accepting resumes and interviewing as though no one had been selected thru January 20, 2010 and giving false hope to those who felt they had chance to becoming part of an administration that was fair and a equal opportunity employer. Why put other applicants thru this, it is the company's decision who they hire. You would have been better off just promoting him, remember admin is not unionized, but they just had to run a game and you expect loyalty from your employess. Get a clue
There is no equal opportunity at ACE parking at the airport. I agree with the other complaintant in regards to them being arrogant, having false pretenses and they do have prejudices of race or sex. It is a mans dominating administration with some lower managers who are insecure, can not handle stress, will lie and manipulate any and every situation that comes before them in order to stonewall the general manager.
My hats off to the new supervisor and good luck to him, it is not his fault that he does not know that he is being set up to fail and trained to be a front person for the manager. just a warning to you, "you will be the fall guy"
