Scammed by LIONEV!! Fraud!!
I sent $16, 000 to Ken Curry of LIONEV for a Lithium Ion Battery Pack with BMS, assembled. After a year of promises and ignored emails and phone calls, I have still received nothing!!!
He doesn't accept Credit Cards because he can't get a merchant account from ripping too many people off. Dont fall for his lies. He doesn't even own the pictures on his site. He stole them off the ev forums and photoshopped them!!!
I've already contacted his local police department and will be filing a lawsuit this year.

Stole $35,000. They're a SCAM!
We wired $35, 000 US to Ken Curry, owner of LionEV, in 2008 for 2 Ford Ranger Electric Conversions with Metal kits and Lithium Ion Batteries. After months of no contact he used his distributors to send us $10, 000 in product but never paid them which is why he has lost all his distributorship through all the companies he sold for.
We have never received our metal kits, Lithium Ion batteries or BMS system.
We found out later the KEN CURRY is a convicted scammer who did time in 2006 for fraud, http://www.teslamotorsclub.com/electric-vehicles/692-lionev.html .
I contacted him recently and offer to settle for just the batteries and forget about the other $15, 000 in product. He agreed to send the batteries in 2 shipments. When the date came, nothing. And now he is dodging my emails and phone calls.
He has removed all the old images of the make believe Electric Rangers they made. Both now sit idle as they never did work right and never will. It was all a part of his scam. They have never successfully converted a vehicle. He has also removed all other products off their site as he never paid for all the motors and controller he used his suppliers to ship. He has been posting new pictures that they sell Lithium Ion Batteries. THEY DONT!! The images are stolen off a forum of another companies batteries. He has photoshoped the company label off the BMS modules in the picture. They aren't even real pictures.
Google LionEV Scam and you will find dozens of people that have been scammed by them. And not one person that actually received what was promised.
Avoid at all costs!!!
