Scam company
DO NOT give these people your bank details in order to receive a 'trial'. I stupidly clicked on an advert that I saw for some tablets that help your metabolism and make you feel less hungry. It said that you can receive a 'trial' of these tablets for only £4, which I thought I would try. WORST MISTAKE EVER!!! I received the trial over two weeks after ordering them and only took 2 tablets as they did absolutely nothing. Three days after receiving the trial a payment for £59.95 was taken from my bank by TOTAL BODY WELLNESS. When contacting them on a Birmingham UK number (although they spoke American), I spoke to a 'supervisor in charge' and eventually he agreed that I will be refunded. I told the company that I want my 'account' to be closed, and no more correspondence from them. I received an email confirming that they had closed my account and thought no more about it. Today (3 days later) I have still not been refunded the amount, but have had ANOTHER PAYMENT of £61.20 taken from my account. I am absolutely furious to say the least. The company are, conveniently, closed at weekends so I have no way of contacting them now until Monday. I am going to try and contact my bank this morning, but no doubt the company will cover their backs with some 'small print' somewhere that is impossible to find. This is outrageous, and reading earlier posts this company have been getting away with this for too long under different names. Surely there is some kind of law to stop this from happening, or is it that I am too niave to think that people who do this will be caught?
