Scam charges
Littlewoods keep adding extra charges to my account for sending me two letters I havent even recieved and a minimum payment fee. Even though I explained through a letter to them the payment would be late because my benefits had been stopped and i would pay £5 a week until I get it sorted out. They charged me £24 because of some letters they had sent me and £12 because of the late payment. I have already given them £90 this month. I only owe £288 and that is because they keep adding extra bills on through phoning me or writing letters and they are still trying to get more from me. I have been a really good customer to them and this is how they repay me.

Scam and cheating
This catalogue refuses to deal directly with customer who is making irregular payments. I am responsible for payments and must pay or else i am charged. catalogue accepts NO responsibility for customer but when i asked if other people can order they said yes, at no time was i informed of what would happen if customer fell behind with payments please can someone help me i am desperate, I have been a responsible customer for years but i am now looking at a rising debt with interest and late/non payment charges. I am sick of hitting a brick wall trying to sort it out £52 a month is alot to find, my daughter and myself are having to go without due to a catalogue and a customer who both do not seem to have a conscience!!!

Appalling customer service
Just thought I'd share this with everyone about the customer service experience we are currently having with Littlewoods. We find it absolutely appalling and we are going to be seeking compensation from them for the inconvenience caused.
We ordered a slimline drawer cabinet from them. On Friday a king-size double bed turned up. Firstly we refused delivery as we hadn't ordered it but were told by the delivery men that it's here, off the wagon and it's going in the house whether we like it or not. We are in a small 3 bedroomed council house, one living room, small kitchen and no dining room with 4 adults (one adult sleeps downstairs on sofa) living in it and it is overcrowded to start with, without a kingsize double bed turning up. The delivery guys refused to take it back despite being told it wasn't ordered and that they must take it back, not only did they refuse to take it back the way they put it into the house they have damaged an antique clock on the way in with it and threw a stepping machine across the living room and left it in the middle of the living room for my mum with arthiritis to move and sort out. They also said that if they did take it back they would steal the bed and my mum would be charged for it. This give my mum loads of confidence with these cowboys. The delivery guys also told my mum not to worry because if the bed needed returning they could collect it tommorow.
When phoning Littlewoods to find out what they are playing at it turned out that the item we ordered started TM and the item delivered was TN (ok simple mistake to make except for the fact that when the order was read back they stated the description of the drawer unit so the error was made at some point after the order was placed). So my mum asked them to arrange collection as soon as possible thinking that it could be collected probably by Monday at the latest as we have this kingsize bed now half stuck in the living room with the mattress obstructing the stairs causing a fire hazard.
Phoned Littlewoods again this morning to see when exactly they would be collecting the mattress. Unbelievably first they tried to make out that it was my mum that had made the error when ordering and then told us that they wouldn't be able to collect the item until the 8th February when they next have a delivery truck in the area big enough to take it back.
No mention of any compensation for the inconvenience or storage costs for the bed.
I realised this was ridiculous so I called them and explained the situation, was told then again earliest their couriers could collect is 8th Feb. So I then told them that I could arrange a private courier to return the bed to Oldham sooner to where it came from sooner than that as long as they paid the cost of the courier, this was refused. I then asked about compensation for their error as it is taking up storage room in our house. The person informed us that they can't offer any compensation on this. After stating for the fifth time to the person that we want compensation, never mind telling us we ain't getting any finally the person tells us that someone will call us back next week but doubts very much that compensation will be offered.
I work for Marks & Spencer's near the team that deals with furniture and know full well that if anything like this goes wrong M&S usually offer the customer some kind of compensation (usually gift vouchers), but Littlewoods are really low for customer service not even considering to offer any gift vouchers towards the storage costs that they should be paying. After this mess up I certainly wont be ordering anything again from Littlewoods.
