I purchased furniture to be made by Luxury of Leather over a year ago. The furniture looked like an 8th grade shop project. The cushion seams were crooked, the leather folded over on itself and stitched so that it puckered, overstuffed in one spot, under filled in others...The store manager did not dispute the complaints I had.
I asked and eventually begged the manager to give me money back and let me go on my way. He said he would give me an unconditional refund only after the company was given a chance to make good on the product. I would have to wait 3 more weeks for them to rebuild the furniture and if I still didn't want it I would get my money back.
I was called and told the furniture was ready and that I'd have to drive to the factory in Carrollton to see it. The owners were on site and strode over to me beaming with enthusiasm. The furniture was better but still not at all worth the money. I asked if I could please get my money back. The owners pressured me and tried to make me feel like I was not a good decision maker but after 30 minutes of holding my tongue and staying cool while they worked me over, they gave me my money.
I still get solicitation calls both from store personnel and recorded messages sent to my cell phone despite the fact that I have politely called the company and asked to be taken off their list. I even get calls from a fomer sales rep each time she changes jobs to another furniture store.
I never write complaints but they have harrassed me so much and continue to do so 2 years later that all should be ware when doing business with this company. This is a poorly managed business and you may lose $3000 or more like I almost did. I spent 2 months with an empty living room in my new house waiting for them to get me my money back.
