In September/October 2010 I was contacted by phone by this company and told I could possibly be entitled to some of the PPI I had paid on loans to be refunded due to misselling. I agreed to this and they told me they would send out the document pack and that the fee would be £249.00. They also told me that I had a 14 day cooling of period to change my mind. I gave them my bank details and assumed that the fee would be taken when the completed form were sent back. However, this was wrong! The fee was taken the day before I received the form pack. I phoned them on 2/3 November and spoke to a Ms Amy Davies and asked for my money to be returned. She told me that the fee was taken on the day they "assumed" the packed was delivered to me. (I never did recived the package). I again asked for it to be returned and she hung up on me as I had been rude to her?. I therefore wrote to her on 4th November recoded delivery asking for the return of the fee. I was then contacted by a Daniel or Giles who told me that they had severed their connection with this company as they were not compliant. He persuaded me to stay with the claim and promised to send out another package. This has not arrived to date. Due to family illness and other things I only just got around to phoning them this week to once again request return of this money to find that their phones are on answer phone mode and that the web page states that they have ceased trading!!! I have emailed them and left several messages on the pbone but no answer. I feel they have taken my money and done nothing at all for it. How do I now get my money back?? I am really worried about this as I need the money as I am living on a pension. Anyone out there who can help please. Please anyone else do not deal with this company.
