The telemarketers sat "cheek to cheek" in a room the size of a basketball court or even bigger, a football field. All of their desks were lined up side by side in rows. The company held mandatory sales meetings every Friday morning at 8:00 a.m. in a glass enclosed room nick named "the fish bowl" at which time sales techniques were demonstrated and scripts for the company's so called "wood pile" were distributed to "real salesman". the telemarketers were expected to follow the scripts and only give customers the miss-leading information they contained. Then the rest of the meeting the owner Aaron cushman would talk about his Mercedes Benz his steroid use or the new girl he met of pently of fish dot com. He would TEXT and have dinner with MARK FOLEY because he felt it would be a good idea to have the attorney general in his pocket. Even though all the employees made 10k to 30k a month (including me) i had to quit because we were stealing hard working peoples money and most of the borrowers became late on the mortgage because we took the money they set a side to make the mortgage payment. In the famous words of owner Aaron Cushman "we got another one" he would smile ear to ear and say "no time for lunch, keep dialing" (even though it was past dinner time) A few of the employees were really nice. A pretty 26 year old Mexican processor by the name of Jackie was always smiling and worked long hours. Jackie's daughter was 16 and also worked for the company as a book keeper. Steve Arnold was a great guy he told me he was a co-founder/owner but Aaron Cushman told me he was lying and wanted to fire him for non-performance.
