Why pillion riding once again banned in Karachi for 1 month
I am totally surprised and shocked to hear news in night (24.05.2009) that once again DOUBLE SAWARI ( Pillion riding) of bike in city of Karachi and Hyderabad banned for one month. Later was banned during Nov 08 and last many months and open DOUBLE SAWARI riding for very small period.

This banned allowed City Police to earn more when the see and catch any one (innocent ) in DOUBLE SAWARI. But honestly asked them how many criminal they have arrest in red handed. Always Police reach the place or of incident last to fill the formalities.

If such type of banned helped to reduce the crimes than WEST should enforce but regret only Pakistan like to uses such banned which creates problems for own people instead of giving more benefits.

How this banned will help to control the crimes which badly affect those common and middle class to deprive to get the benefit of lift to reach WORKSHIP, OFFICE or any place. Such banned I never heard or saw in enforce in any country expect PAKISTAN. What a foolish banned which only increase problems and tension for bike riders. The city Govt does not know the facility of local transport available and how people face difficulties to reach their desire place.

I strong condemn this type of banned which does not allow facility but increase problems for own people and asked question from strong business community organization such as KCCI – FPCCI – KSE – SITE ASSOCIATION and EPB why remain quite and don’t registered their strong protest and demand from the City Govt & Governor or Chief Minister to immediate basis lift the banned for the benefit of common people as they have no courage or power to do so.

If our police not capable to make difference among the innocent citizen and criminals than why our nation pay the punishment cost for banning DOUBLE SAWARI in order to stop crime or open one other source of income for city Police to earn by only hunting of double sawari no matter he is innocent never involved in criminals activities.

Please avoid passing or enforcing such laws or restrictions which totally get the bad image of Pakistan how they are back ward.

When our responsible will matured and avoid for such decision will kill the feeling of common people those never concern with any politics only worried how they reach their offices – shops or work ship place or go to the outing. All plans for going in double washed out with this recent banned.
