On Weds. 2/09/2011 I mailed a letter to a local address, from myself, a resident of leawood, Ks. to a friend in K.C.Mo. and today, nine days later, the letter has not been delivered or returned. For a long time I have sent letters to this same person, address and it got there in one or two days. The letter and Valentine card with a memento was valuable in many ways. I am very worried. I have registered info with the main p.o. I have talked to people at the mail stations along the way, but no letter. It was checked for correct postage at HyVee 79th and State Line and then dropped in the big bag for the 1:30 pick-up. If I had known on that fateful day, I would have driven the letter myself. I will never mail anything in the future that I cannot get sent some other way. I always stood by the P.O. and kept using them for everything at home and in business. NO MORE!! Is America going to the dogs?
