I guess it is legal for LogMeIn to steal money from it's customers through their automatic renewal and no-refund policy
I have a MacBook on which I installed LogMeIn. LogMeIn claims you can use your local printer to print from an offsite computer which you have accessed from your local computer. That feature does not work with a MacBook. When I contacted Tech Support, the technician acknowledged the problem, then gave me a lengthy process that I would have to use every time I wanted to print to my local printer from an offsite computer. It was far too cumbersome, so I never used it and wasnt going to renew my subscription to LogMeIn when it expired. Well, LogMeIn automatically renewed my subscription ($69.95) without my permission or knowledge. When I contacted them for a refund I was told that they had a strict no-refund policy. So, I guess it is legal for LogMeIn to steal money from it's customers through their automatic renewal and no-refund policy. If you desire to access offsite computers, you would be much better off using "gotomypc.com." It is a much better program and can be canceled at any time.

A very poor policy, and a way to dishonestly keep stealing money from their customers
Very angry with them on their auto-renewal policy. Had called them last year after their auto renewal had happened to cancel auto renewal. This year, they conveniently didn't have record and charged me the amount again. They have a no-refund policy, and the credit card company won't do anything about it... SO make sure to hang on to any "confirmation number" they give you if you cancel the service, or they will keep charging ENDLESSLY. A very poor policy, and a way to dishonestly keep stealing money from their customers.
