Worst company ever
Four years ago I had a home built by Lexington Builders. The plumbing contractor on the job was Lomar Trenching. The permit was pulled under Lexington’s contractor’s license number 007585. About three weeks ago I was having problems with my septic tank backing up, etc. I had a septic company come out and check it out. They had to dig up my yard and when they did they found out that my septic plumbing had been installed incorrectly. This was not the fault of the septic tank company as when the septic company installs the septic tank, the final plumbing is not connected to the septic tank at the time of the install or the inspection by Pasco inspector. This is done by the plumbers. What they did was connect the pipe coming from the house into the lift station where the pumps are. This in turn put all the waste directly into the lift station and shorted out the pumps completely from the waste. There was no where for the waste to go as the pumps were not working, plus direct waste is not to go into the lift station. The piping should have been connected to the septic tanks where the waste is broken down then goes to the lift station and out to the fields. I have several photos that were taken by the septic company that repaired the mess and a letter of their findings and the damage that was done. My house is only 4 years old and pumps should never go out in this amount of time. I had to have the septic company pump out the tanks just to get to the pumps and replace both pumps and to re-route the piping into the appropriate tanks closing off the opening to the lift station which is where the plumber originally routed the plumbing coming from the house. The amount to have this completed was $1650. I have talked with inspector of Pasco County and they suggested that I try and get reimbursed from the plumbing company, which I have left several message, or to file a complaint against the builders contractor’s license through www.pascotcounty.fl.com, as they are responsible for the contractors completing the work under their license. Lexington Builders is the contractor and I have listed their license above. From the pictures and the letter from the septic company, it is evident that the piping was connected to the lift stations and should not have been done. Hopefully I have the correct place to voice my complaint. Any response or direction on this would be greatly appreciate.
