Scam!!!
Fraud!!! Don't deal with them. They are cheaters. I ordered and paid for 2 canon lenses on September 23 2009. They shipped nothing and refused to refund my money. They were selling items that they don't have. It is impossible to talk to them: they always lie and promise to solve the problem in 2-3 days. And they simply ignore emails. It continues for 2 MONTHS already. I filed complaints in BBB, IC3 and NCL. So, now I'm going to court to sue the thieves. AVOID - THIS IS FRAUD!!! SCAM!!!

Unscrupulous Company
I recently ordered a GPS from this company. I called them to ask about shipment details and received rather vague answers that (after many times calling) and alarm bells ring in my head. I investigated further online and this company has hundreds if not thousands of complaints of fraud and scam.

Luckily I used Google Checkout for CC payment of the charge. I received a message from Google Checkout stating: Thank you for using Google Checkout. In an ongoing effort to provide a safe purchasing environment, Google reviews orders on a regular basis.
For your security, we've cancelled the following order:
Google Checkout no longer processes orders for this merchant. If you'd still like to make a purchase from Global Express Imports, please contact this merchant directly or feel free to retry your order with another merchant

The Google Security and Checkout Team probably know what this E-Shopping company is doing to customers. My advice: check a company before ordering and always try to use Google Checkout or some other safeguard measure!

Worst customer service
These people are extortionists! I decided to finally buy an Olympus SLR after wanting one for years. I order from their website and get an order confirmation. A few days go by and I hear nothing from them, a few more and still nothing. I e-mail and again nothing. Finally after a week and a half I call them and am told that it will ship shortly and the guy will send a shipping confirmation to my e-mail. Of course that never arrives. After two and a half weeks I give up hope and cancel my order. Lo and behold my camera shows up two days later! However it does not have the second lens that is promised and is a DEMO! I asked to return it for a refund and now they want to charge me a 15% restocking fee and $15 shipping. This is the worst customer service that I have ever dealt with in my entire life. Avoid them at all costs!

No Product... No Refund!!!!!
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! They charged $3, 149.87 to my credit card for a 65" Sharp LCD TV 6/18/2009. A month later I found out they did not ship the TV to my customer. No problem, I called to find out why, and they tell me that the TV is no longer available. Again, no problem, just give me a refund please. It is now 10/14/2009 and i am still trying to get a refund!!! Good luck trying to talk to them (Frank, Sam & Howard) they pass the phone around to one another thinking the problem will change. I have contacted the FBI, Better Business Bureau and my credit card company. I tried to resolve this issue on my own and had no luck. Hopefully someone can put these people in their place before they close-up shop and re-open under another name. Avoid this company like the plague. If you know someone, have them avoid them too. We can only help other victims by word of mouth, ave your friend!!!

Scam
Unfortunatley, I ordered a digital camera through this website as it was the site that offered the best price. Now I know why. I didn't do my research and just had hoped I was getting a great deal that wasn't too good to be true.

The day I ordered I received a confirmation email with an order number. They also charged my card the same day. I went to track my order and conveniently the website just defaulted to a page that said "Check Back Here for Our Amazing Weekly Deals". I called them the next day and spoke with a man named Howard. He told me my package would arrive by Friday. I asked him for the tracking number, he told me he would email it to me. You guessed it, never received the email. And never received the package on Friday. I called several times and got a recording "Please enter the mailbox number of the person you are trying to reach". I then sent another email expressing my concern. When I called today, Oct. 5th the voicemail message indicated they would be closed from Oct. 8-12, and to call back then. It's Oct. 5th! I'm challenging this charge with my credit card company and I hope these scam artists realize what goes around comes around.

Hopefully you have done your research before purchasing anything from Lorimer Electronics and don't get scammed like I did.

HORRIBLE
Submitted order (before finding this board, obviously), and I'm regretting it.

4 words: WORST. CUSTOMER. SERVICE. EVER.

Asked for tracking information, was told it would be delivered on the afternoon of 6 August, didn't receive until 2 PM on 7 Aug. Called on the evening of 6 August to cancel order at 7:30. Phone rang four times, the fella who picked up the phone was fairly rude in telling me that they'd closed -- this information was not posted in any email, nor on the website.

Instead of canceling the order as I'd instructed via email (due to the unavailability of anyone by phone), they simply sent the tracking information. According to UPS at this point, they've only received billing information, i.e. it probably hasn't actually shipped yet.

In short, the $20 that I saved by going with these folks has already been spent, and then some.

In short: avoid at all costs. Spend MORE if it means getting products elsewhere.
