I am customer since February 2009 I have been waiting for 3 week for VIRGIN MEDIA to transfer internet service to my new home, after letting them know I moved house and a day was fixed for the transfer :
1st week I waited all day at home from 1pm to 6pm nobody turned up then I phoned they said that its been rescheduled for the next week and that’s without a prior notice knowing that i have been waiting for 12 hours for the technician to come leaving work and other responsibility aside, 2nd week waited the whole day and called twice to make sure they definitely coming, they confirmed to me it was going to be installed the same day as scheduled, they even confirmed to me and with the technician on the other line that they definitely coming to install it that day as they were running late, later at 6:30 the technician called back and said that his calling sick!!!
I am really frustrated of the whole situation and I had to call the costumer service to cancel the whole thing if they were not going to make it the same day but then they put me on hold for over 40 min the hanged up!!
So i wrote them a complaint and they didn’t respond then i called to cancel everything when an operator tried to resolve it by calling a responsible and they both apologized and confirmed that they will definitely sort it out for Monday the next week 100% so i accepted again and gave them and myself a very last chance but it was the biggest disappointment ever and frustration as i waited Monday for the whole day then called they said is going to be only for the 13th of October which means in another 2 weeks time i couldn’t take it anymore and wanted to cancel all that and find peace but then the cancelation department tried to retain me as they do and they confirmed to me again that they will put me on priority and make the installation at the end of the same day, but again no body turned up.
This is became a frustration everyday and i cant really believe that they can do this to people and play with their emotions and time and patient as it really became something that frustrate me all day long everyday i think about it and traumatized of these internet providers and their mediocre lies.
Please help to know better my right and what i can do as this time I really don’t want to let them just get away with that as i am sure I won’t be the first or last person to endure this and I really want to go all the way with this case even doesn’t matter how long or where it will go cause it’s a real mockery and they well take advantage of me.
