Lowes Banking GE Bank Service Provides extremely poor customer service. It looks bad on their part to have a customer request closing an account due to poor service so they find ways to close on the customer. I requested in sept to close the account due to poor service. I paid the account to zero and requested customer service to close it. I was told it would be closed once the payment was processed. Since you can not see the records, you can only trust that customer service person will follow up with your request. That did not occur. What did occur 30 days almost to the date of my request was a letter from Lowes GE Bank closing my account for poor credit. I found it amazing that this random audit occurred after I made my request and after I had paid my account to zero! When I asked to file a formal complaint Lowes customer service supervisor gave me a PO Box that was on the form standard letter sent to me.
Beware of these bank services centers. In these poor times, they are out to protect their rating not the consumer. With the rates of 19% and above, they want to collect as much money as possible from the consumer.
