After paying up front for a drive for an electric Golf Cart, and waiting practically a month, we still have not received the drive.
We placed the order with Mr. Callie Fisher and transferred the full purchase price into his banking account on the 23rd March 2010. Callie promised that he would send the drive with a friend of his, who was coming our way the following day. This friend never arrived. Umpteen similar promises were made and on each occasion he had some excuse why the delivery was not done.
On Tuesday 13 April, I had business to attend to in Nelspruit and I tried in vain to reach him telephonically before leaving for Nelspruit. I managed to speak to him telephonically when I was in Hazyview area and told him that I was on my way to Nelspruit and would collect the drive in person.
Callie said his driver had goods to deliver in Tzaneen and he, Callie, had arranged for the driver, who had left the previos day, to deliver the drive on his way back. It didn't happen! More promises of deliveries were made and not carried out.
I am now desperate and fear that I may have lost the customer whose golf cart we undertook to repair. What do I do now?
