LUCENT WHITES Reviews

Marsha Fuqua January 19, 2010
this company did not deliver there advertised products but still changed my credit card for $88.00 and I received no products.
I order their offer for a teeth whitening system, I did
receive their introductory offer, but then was charged
$88.oo for further products that I did not receive. These charges were placed on my credit card, without
my agreeing to such action.

Fraudulant billing
I sent away for a $1.(( sample teeth whitening kit). Now when I get my Mastercard statement I owe them $88.98 US dollars!!

Not only that but an additional charge by the same company under the name MCR HEALTHWELLNESS for 13.99 U.S. dollars.
THey must have obtained my credit card number from Lucent Whites. I DID NOT ASK FOR ANYTHING FROM them.

Now that I have heard that they bill their credit cards monthly I have had to cancel my creditcard which is most inconvenient.

I have since returned the product but they say it has to be returned within 14 days although their product information clearly states - 30 day return!

I have attached the product for which they charged over $100. Next to an apple for perspective.

scam on membership
I too went on a website that advertised the Lucent Whites 14-day free
trial for only $1.99. There was no info about a membership.
My credit card was charged the $1.00 & 75.95 from Superior Clean
and $1.99 & $88. from Lucent. My credit card says I did respond
w/i 14 days to cancel...but there was NO info on the website about
that...only a a RUSH your order-only so many minutes left.
There must be a resolution to this as I am not the only consumer
this has happened to.

Scam
I just filed a complaint with the FTC regarding Lucentwhites scam. You can do it too on this site. https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ They are deceiving the consumer and sucking them in and quickly taking their money without defining the terms of enrollment. Did you know that you were going to be billed $88 a month within 14 days of receiving your trial offer product? Did you know that you were automatically enrolled on the healthwellness.com web site for a charge or $13.50 /mo if you didn't uncheck a little box on trial offer page. I didn't know this and this plain outright deception and anybody who has been bilked like me should report this consumer fraud.

Lucent Whites Scam
I clicked on a website, I'm not sure which one but it took me to Lucent Whites. It said rush your order for the best way to whiten your teeth. Free 14 day trial, $2.99. There was no more information just give your credit card # and they will rush the order for only $2.99 plus $1.00 for handling shipping. I received it and thought what a great deal you get the trays and the syringes with the pyroxide . What a deal. So I decided to order more for my son. I browsed for Lucent Whites and noticed that there also was a website for lucent white scam which brought me to your website. I then realized that I was in the middle of a scam. I was going to be billed on my credit card approx. $88 /mo for crap that they were going to send me. When I signed up for the 14 day free trial there was no information on this web site regarding this. Luckily I had just ordered this and was within the 14 day window of cancelling. But for those people who do not cancel within 14 days from the time they charge your card you have been scamed and they will charge you $88 dollars a month. Plus there is a little box that you may not notice when you are so excited about rushing your order. The box is automatically checked, you don't do it, you are then enrolled automatically in a healthwellness.com site and they will charge you $13 a month for the privledge of being automatically enrolled. <br />

I always thought that I was so smart. This is a huge scam. I found a site on the internet which explains the real terms of Lucent Whites which was not available on the website when you order. The site is http://lucentwhites.com/terms.aspx Read it, it blew my mind that I had inadvertently signed on to this scam. Believe me don't do it . Crest White Strips Supreme according to Consumer Reports is the best tooth whitener. You can only get them only on line. I ordered mine, on ebay, 42 strips for $32 . period that is it. Be smart don't go any where near Lucent Whites.

Lucent whites scam. enrolls in monthly charges
This is just another one of those "free trial" whiteners, like cleanwhites, dazzle white, etc. Most likely you've reada blog about a "mom" who's found the secret to white teeth (I have too, it's called mixing hydrogen peroxide and baking soda together and brushing on ur teeth for 10-20 minutes, rinse, brush with regular toothpaste, and there you go. For about $3). This "free trial" is only a ploy to get ur credit card number. You will find it is impossible to cancel. They bury their terms and conditions. This one states that by receiving the free trial, u want to be enrolled in a monthly home delivery program charging u $90 a month. Even if you try to cancel or talk to someone stating u want to cancel, they will continue to bill you and claim there's no record of cancellation. BE CAREFUL YOUR FREE TRIAL BEGINS THE DAY U ORDER THE PRODUCT!!! Ur shipment will not come in until the trial period is already over. Don't be fooled!! If you HAVE already made the mistake by trying to get this "free trial" here is what you MUST DO.
If it hasn't gone through, go ahead and warn ur bank about a fraudulent charge that may be going through. Most of the time, the company will go ahead and bill u for the first month almost immediately. These products DO NOT WORK! Next thing u have to do.
You will continue to be charged every month unless you do this. Record ur phone conversation cancelling (trust me. when u do cancel, they keep charging ur card anyhow claiming there's no record of cancellation), or print out an email u sent to their company requesting that ur membership be cancelled. Print that out. Do both if you can. Then, hand that evidence over to ur bank or credit card company. If they continue to charge after the cancellation, ur bank can do a chargeback. This means YOU get your money back PLUS the company has to pay a penalty fee. But u MUST have proof. Otherwise, they will say that u agreed to membership according to their hidden terms. Get evidence against them and make them pay up!
