Lost of baggage
My baggage was lost on the 16-th of June 2011. There were things that i bought in Paris. These things were very expensive. This is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS and extremely insulting. please connect with me and find my baggage.

luggage missing for four days minimum

I was travelling on LH1889/02Jun/lh2482/02Jun, from Florence via Munich to LHR. My suitcase did not appear with the other cases on the flight
I was told the case would be delivered the next day (Fri 3rd June) and I made some complex arrnagements for someone to be able to receive it. I have now been told I have to wait till 18.30 hours on Monday 6th June (tomorrow i.e 4 days)
Obviously this is highly inconvenient, to say the least. I have had two signifcant events over the week-end (I have the evidence.. though am annoyed at the idea of needing to produce any evidence) which needed particular apparel - which is in my case. I have also needed my toiletries and further changes of clothing. I have work clothing in my casw which i need for tomorrow.
I have thus needed to go to some considerable expense - and taken some considerable time to sort this issue out. That there are daily flights from Munich to LHR merely serve to irritate me further - as I am sure you can imagine.
Please assure me that my suitcase will indeed arrive tomorrow (Monday 6th June) and please let me know how I can claim full compensation for the considerable inconvenience and irritation I have expereinced together with my necessary financial outlay

Overall and all
I remember the times when flight attendants were pretty, food tasty, and airlines punctual. It was relatively expensive to fly, but it still is. Everything else has changed a lot.
As a very frequent flyer (over 100 flights per year) I have to say Lufthansa remains the leader, it doesn’t fail to disappoint, over and over again. Well, one could argue that at least they are consistent in their performance.
Almost every flight I had was delayed and I missed my connection a zillion times. I wasted hours and hours of my precious time waiting for a plane to finally depart or to get at the next available flight. A year ago (and I do not think I will ever forget this) I spent 14 hours on the Frankfurt airport (because of a delay I missed the connection flight). Why? Not because they did not have any flights in the meantime, but because Lufthansa did not want to book me a seat at a flight where only business class seats were available (I am talking about 1.5 hour flight, not London-New York business class). He didn’t even offer me a possibility to pay extra for the business class.
And when I finally get on a plane, I have no room for my legs (they squeezed rows so much that I can hardly fit), very often there is no place for my coat or a handbag in the upper compartment (as they allow people to get in with all kinds of ‘hand luggage’) I am served something that they call food, while flight attendants typically look like they are irritated that had to show up at work, and actually earn their salaries. Staff is often arrogant and rude.
And they couldn’t care less, because they know that our options are very limited!

STOLEN ITEMS FROM BAG
I HAVE BEEN A VERY LOYAL AND SENATOR CARD PASSANGER OF LUFTHANSA FOR MANY YEARS.
UNFORTUNATELY I AM HAVING A SERIOUS PROBLEM ABOUT MY STOLEN ITEMS FROM MY BAG ONLY FLYING OUT FROM JFK – NEWYORK FLIGHTS.
ON 28/01/2011 I FLEW FROM ( LH 411) NEW YORK ( JFK) VIA MUNÄ°H ( LH 1770 ) TO ISTANBUL AND WHEN I ARRIVED IN ISTANBUL I WAS INFORMED THAT MY SUITCASE WAS STILL IN MUNICH AND WOULD BE DELIVERED TO ME ABOUT 8 HOURS LATER. IT WAS A VERY FRUSTRATING SITUATION COMING BACK HOME FLYING AFTER 10 HOURS OVERSEAS FLIGHT WITHOUT ALL YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS AND SUITCASE.
AFTER OPENING MY BAG NEXT DAY IN THE MORNING I REALIZED THAT MY JACKET ‘’ BALLY ‘’ ( SWITZERLAND ) WAS STOLEN OUT OF MY BAG
SINCE I HAVE BEEN YOUR SENATOR CARD MEMBER FOR MANY YEARS I DO LIKE MINIMUM 100, 000 MILES EVERY YEAR AND UNFORTUNATELY IN THE LAST 3 YEARS SAME INCIDENTS SUCH AS STOLEN ITEMS FROM BAG HAPPENED TO ME 4 TIMES ONLY IN LUFTHANSA FLIGHTS FROM ( JFK ) .
LUFTHANSA HAS ALL FILES AND RECORDS IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I AM BUSINESSMAN WHO NEEDS TO FLY TO USA ALMOST EVERY MONTH AND LUFTHANSA -USA FLIGHTS HAVE ALREADY BECOME A VERY SCARY RISKY FLIGHTS FOR ME ANYMORE. I CANCELLED MY FLIGHT TO LAX – LOS ANGELES BY LUFTHANSA AND FLY WITH TURKISH AIRLINES DIRECTLY.
I FEEL LIKE I AM ALWAYS UNDER BURGLARY RISK SYSTEMATICALLY!
I HOPE LUFTHANSA TURKEY CUSTOMER SERVICE STEPS UP AND TRIES TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMERS.

Frequent Miles
The airline did not notify me on time, that my Miles and More would expire on 6/30/10- - I called every month to make sure the 30, 000 would remain until the end of summer 2010, and found out that they were erased- or taken back the German carrier.
Upon writing and even calling the German office, one clerk did not know from the other clerk's notes, or info. and denied the mileage accumulated.
I suggested that the German carrier would let me buy back the miles, or offer to re-deem them, but, with their German arrogance all they would say is : Nein, Nein!!!
I personally detest them and saw through their German cold and stoned personality, however, would have used the miles on a partner carrier. All I can say is : The hell with them!!!

Not honoring annual tickets
My son is a University Student in Canada and every year he comes home to Cairo during the Christmas Holiday. Therefore, I purchase an annual return ticket for him from Cairo to Toronto, return, From January to December.
This year I booked his ticket, with Thomas Cook January 2010 and I needed to make the return date to be December 2010, for my son to come back during the Holiday season.
While making the reservation, Thomas Cook informed me that they cannot make the booking from Jan. 2010 till Dec. 2010, as Lufthansa reservation system does not allow to do so, and they can only make it till 16th of Nov. 2010. They further assured me that there will be NO PROBLEM to change the return date to Dec. 2010 later on.
As the Christmas holiday is approaching, I contacted Thomas Cook to make the reservation for my son for Dec. to spend the holiday with his family.
I was shocked to know that, not only I have to pay 100 Euro to change the reservation, but I have to pay for another return ticket as Lufthansa cancelled the type of economy class for such tickets and they made a new economy class, and I have to pay for a new return ticket, or go to another Airline !!!
What kind of business do we have here? Where is the customer protection? Isnt this a type of fraud? When I get an annual ticket, the duration should be ONE YEAR not according to Lufthansa reservation window. Can they get away with this? Change and cancel a class without honoring the previously issued tickets?

CANCELL FLIGHT And Lost Laguages during Three days
My Name is HABIB GRINI .I'm LH Senator N° 2220 1422 3643 985.
I had A Flight with Lufthansa LH 653 + LH 4572 from Jeddah to Frankfurt /Brussels : 26 AUG 2010 E Ticket 220 9756 176446 Nbr LH 454EQD.
Flight LH 653 take off scheduled at 26 AUG 02H40 .We still at the gate waiting till 04H00 without any information about the delay or the cancell of the mentionned flight .Cancelled Flight due to Technical problem on the Aircraft coming from ASMARA to Jeddah has been confirmed on the morning at about 05H3O AM after many discussion and with poor comminication with LH Staff in Jeddah Airport .
By the end, they succeed to find a Flight Jeddah/AMMAN RJ 701 at 06H45 with connection to Frankfurt Flight RJ 125 + Connection to Brussels .
The complain is
1. Spent Night waiting the flight till morning without any assistance and not sleeping more than 40H .
2.Instead of arriving to Brussels at 10H30 morning ( Flight LH 4572) and participating to important meeting in my compagny at 13H00 .This Meeting has been cancelled ? This impact direct is minimum 6H*120€( Rate for Engineering And Construction Manager ) .
3.My Laguage ( see Annexed reference ) including all my main works files stay missing during 3 days with a new impact on the impossibility to perform needed works on Fri 26 AUG .
Thanks to answer by return what about Compensation for the the 3 items.

Cancellation of flight
I have sent two letters to Lufthansa following our delayed flight on 15th July 2010 which should have left Milan at 21.30hrs and finally arrived at Heathrow at 17.00 on 16th July. The customer care at Milan was disgusting and if the Italians had not created so much we would have been left at the airport all night after having a voucher for a drink and sandwich at 22.00hrs on 15th July. I attached receipts and paperwork regarding the flight.
After my second letter I have still not received any acknowledgement from them, I take this to be that they have so many complaints that we have to wait for three months before any customer service clerks have the time to respond.

Customer service
I have booked fights (see pages below) the first was with Netflights, once I received the paper work it had the wrong dates on it and as these dates had passed before I found out I lost the full cost of the fares.
Despite trying to take this up with Netfilghts, all kept repeating is that I must have booked the wrong dates, which I insist that I did not; they did contact you to make sure that I did not fly, but despite this they still would not accept that it was their fault.
I rebooked the fights using Expedia for the same date 05/11/2010 return 22/11/2010 (see below) selecting business class, I have just received an update on the ticket.
Which I discovered that the return is booked in economy and not business class, I took this up with Exepdia and they say that there system picks the lost fare, this why I they put in this option.
I have been informed that the return flight ticket is no refundable or upgrade able.
This means I have spent over £5000 and still not got the flights with the correct business class seat for the dates I want to travel. Out 05/11/200 return 22/11/2010.
I would also like to point out that I would never travel economy, as I can only stand for short periods of time, due to having my left kneecap removed and arthritis in my right knee. I am also what you would call a large person 6-2 tall and 270 kilos, so an economy seat would cause me a great deal of discomfort.
I know these problems are not of your making, but surely you can sort this out as a gesture of good will.

Poor customer service
Ever since Lufthansa allied with United (the worse airline in the skies) they have dragged themselves down to United’s level.
Yesterday I made a reservation from Los Angeles to Frankfurt, Germany the flight I would have liked was $1, 222.00 so I booked a later flight for $954.00. Today the flight I wanted is $954.00 so I called Lufthansa and ask if I could change to the earlier flight. They told me there would be a charge to make the change of $250.00 per ticket because it was just over 24 hours. I spoke to supervisor, Dave and he said there was nothing he could do because these rules are made with their alliance (United once again). The tickets are non refundable so I am stuck this time. However I have been flying Lufthansa every year that I have gone to Europe for at least the last ten years but this will be the last time I ever fly Lufthansa. I haven’t flown United for about 15 years since the last time they screwed me so it will be the same with Lufthansa.
