Unauthorized charges
I specifically look for fine print to read. I work at a bank and have learned many lessons there. I ALWAYS look for fine print and never sign anything with blank spaces. I'm very meticulous when it comes to stuff like that. So when I saw that Crest was offering / endorsing this teeth whitening product, after doing a little research about membership information and fine print, I found nothing of the sort on the website. I decided to try it. It was only $4.99 and there were no strings attached. I later got a package in the mail and was wondering what it was. I opened it and it was a shabby excuse for a kit. Nothing like the kit I saw on the website. I decided not to use it. I still have it up to this day.
Doing a routine check of my email and finances I came across an email from Chase saying that a transaction that I recently made has exceeded my transaction limit that I had set. Naturally i logged on to my cradit card account and realized my credit card balance is different from what it should be. I checked the recent activity and saw that it was for teeth whitening. But I never would sign up for teethe whitening that would cost me a whopping $88.97 per month! I have a dentist! I then remembered that I had ordered the 'SAMPLE' online. I immediately called my credit card company to file a dispute but being that it was after midnight that dept. was closed. I thought it was a mere mistake because I have had that happen to me before, it was an error on the company's part and it was quickly resolved.
I went back to the Luminous Brites website which to my surprised has changed. It's no longer Crest now it's Aquafresh! And low and behold there are now terms and conditions listed below the title line on the order site and right before you click on through to confirm your order. I Googled the company name and found a SEA of reports and complaints. I Googled the address and what came up for suite 2 in that plaza was a Chiropractor's office. I realized that I too have been scammed and I am in such rage right now it's not even funny. I will do anything to get my money back. That $88.97 could have bought groceries and gas for my car, even pay a few bills. How do people live like this and do things like this to people?
I will gladly assist in any legal action that will be taken. Count me in!

unauthorized charge
I had ordered a free trial of luminous brites for just a small fee of $4.99 for shipping. Not to long after there is ANOTHER FEE on my credit card for $89.00! I tried emailing the company and they just told me that I had not contacted them within 20 days of ordering...which is funny cuz I sure as heck never signed up to recieve their monthly subscriptions. This is the just rediculous how this company can still be running and taking advantage of people. I am going to call them immediatly tomorrow morning.

unauthorized charge
I have tried calling their phone number for a week. I get put on hold for long periods of time, then disconnected. I want to return the product to them, as I did not order it. I think my teenager ordered it. Also, I want a credit to my credit card for $88.97 that WAS NOT AUTHORIZED by me or my wife. This company is ripping people off! I'm going to file a report with the Better Business Bureau, also.
Sincerely,
Arthur Anderton

SCAM/lack of cooperation with Customer Service
This was charged to me because I did not enroll in their program for a whopping 88.00 so THEY enrolled me without notification of intent - they charged my credit card BEFORE sending the product on the FORCED enrollment - Now I cannot get them to do a simple thing like send me an email confirming my conversations and requests with customer service (Brandon) who was told he could not do that, nor could he give me the Corporate phone number. I did receive a one line confirmation that the "acct." had been closed, but nothing indicating that my credit card would be refunded upon receipt of the product they sent me and we have not received the "code" to send the product back either... so we can't send it back ( according to them) until we do.
After a while the customer service rep must have gotten tired of my insisting they give me some confirmation that I had actually spoken with a live person - he would give me his name and extention but said he "didn't want to put his email our there".
*The credit card company told me that they had received MANY complaints about this scam when I contacted them to dispute the charge.
The second rep would not give me ANY corporate number, nor a business number, nor any information - when I asked if she knew where the business was based - she said it was only an "on-line" business, when I where they manufactured the product she said she "didn't know" and would not give out the information if she did! If this doesn't smack of a scam I don't know what does. This should not be this difficult and they REALLY need to empower the Customer Service folks to give out proper information - but first they need to stop scamming folks!

My name is Tracy Corsitto-phone # 631-805-4568. This company took out of my account an unauthorized $88.97 . The worst part is that the customer support center # that I had dialed couln't even help me at 1-866-360-1477. My email address is [email protected]. I never even received any product--want to know who signed for this product--i want my money back in my account.
Thank you,

Unauthorized charge to my account
Let my daughter (13 years old) order a "sample" of the teeth whitening product for 4.99; I let her use my credit card as it was a small purchase. Another "sample" arrived stating that she was automatically enrolled in the 30day continuity program. I called my bank who stated that I had been charged 88.97 on 12/9/2008 and they said there was nothing they could do about it. I called the company and explained the situation and a very bored employee said that I could not send the product back for credit, without authorization from Luminous Brites. The email address as well as the website do not exist. In these economic times, this is a significant hit for me.

unauthorized charges
Sending more kits without our ordering and automatically charging $89.47 that was not authorized. This appears to be a scam. We are unable to contact them to cancel the product, because we are put on terminal hold.
