We purchased a 2007 Cadillac CTS on Sept. 21, 2009- went to trade the vehicle in on January 16, 2011, only to be told that the CTS has frame damage and only has a salvage price of $10K and was told the vehicle is not safe to drive - we have contacted Lund Cadillac via personal messages as well as via attorney, with no results- we also found out with running a GM vehicle history
that the rear differential & the front hub was replaced 200 miles prior to us purchasing the vehicle- which was never disclosed as well. Lund Cadillac purchased the vehicle direct from the factory as was put in service as a loaner and was never reported to AZ DOL. Thus would have made them the original first owner- the vehicle
was sold to the 2nd owner at 3200 miles- we were told that they vehicle was a one owner car- not the case.
We have had the car parked in our gargage since January 16 - have made payment & insured a vehicle that is not safe to drive-
At this point we want a vehicle that is safe with no additional costs to us & the vehicle's title branded with frame damage so another consumer wont' be screwed & have theirs lives put in jeapordy as ours have, unknowingly.
Photo attached shows were the frame has been cut and the bumper welded back on-
the safety of the vehicle with a rear impact has not been compromised.
