Dealer did not submit the warranty

I bought my car from (Luxor Auto Group) the Car Dealer in Glendale in January, 2010. They sold me a one year warranty worth $800. A new car buyer, I didn't know how to check whether my warranty was properly submitted or not. 8 months down the line, a day before my wife was going to deliver our first baby, I was stuck in the middle of a hot day when my car would not start. I called up the Warranty company and to my dismay, I came to know that they don't have my policy number. When I contacted the dealer, he kept on hanging me for about a month after which he told me that my warranty details were never submitted to the company due to some technical reason. Had I not called up the company, they would have pocketed my money without my knowledge. Now that I know, they are making me call them everyday and nobody is giving me any response. They have not called me even once, despite asking for my number every time I call, to call back. I am sick and frustrated since it was my hard-earned money and they are making me beg for my own money when they should be sending the money right away. I am moving out of country very soon, so don't know whether they will be giving me money in one month's time or not.
I have the receipts of my warranty which has the details of the warranty and the dealer as well.

Almost 3 months and they still have not fixed my car!

I purchased a VW Beetle from Luxor Auto on Oct. 29, 2009. While test driving the car I noticed it shifted rough but the salesguy assured me that it just needed motormounts replaced and it was definatly not a transmission problem because that would have shown up on their diagnostic reports. Luxor did replace the motormounts but this was not the problem because it was still shifting rough. After 3 transmission shops, almost 3 months of not having a car, and 3 car payments later...it's been determined by a VW dealer that my car needs a whole new transmission. Luxor will not let the dealer replace the transmission because they think the dealer is trying to upsell and that AAmco can just fix the transmission. I was told by the owner that he doesn't owe me a new transmission-he only owes me a transmission that has the same amount of miles or less on it. So he was going to go search junkyards to see if he could find one to put in my car. I got to drive my new car for less then 3 weeks! And I haven't seen it since! Luxor has been taking it from shop to shop where no one is able to fix it but when the VW dealer says it needs a new transmission they don't want to hear it. So at this point my car is back at Aamco. I've been treated very poorly through this whole ordeal. The service advisor is rude to me even though she says I am the most patient customer they've ever had. She doesn't call me with updates on my car- I must call her if I want to know what's going on. I'm done dealing with the advisor and have gone to dealing straight with the owner. However he is not much better. He will answer my call, tell me he's in the middle of something and that he will call me back in 15 minutes. The next day I'm lucky if I get a call back from him. This has been the most horrible experience and I want to warn everyone to never make a purchase from Luxor Auto Sales in Mesa or Scottsdale. I bought mine at the Mesa store but all service goes through the Scottsdale store. Luxor Auto Group is a horrible auto dealer and will take advantage of you all they can. Take it from me who just made my 3rd car payment on a car I haven't seen in over 2 months and barely remember even what my car looks like!
