Part not ordered after 3 months
I took my Mini Cooper S to them beginning of February for a routine 35 000km service. They phoned later that day to say that my car had a cracked exhaust and needed to be replaced and they needed to keep my car overnight. The next day I received a call saying my car was ready to collect however it needed to come back in because the bracket that secured the exhaust didn't arrive with the exhaust so I said fine. After repeated calls to them for 3 MONTHS they finally phoned me back and said that the bracket was there and ready to be fitted. I took my car there yesterday and they kept it overnight again. Today I called and they said that they have to wait for the bracket for the exhaust because no one ordered it but they guaranteed that it will be fitted today. They also needed to fit a new clutch to the vehicle, so I have to bring it in next week AGAIN!!!
I also discovered I left my sunglasses in the car after I dropped it off and by the sounds of other peoples experiences with sunglasses and Lyndhurst Auto I don't expect to see them ever again either.
I will never buy a car from them ever again.

Shocking service from Lyndhurst Auto
I have a mini cooper that has been malfunctioning for the past 2 weeks, it has already been in to Lyndhurst Auto to get repaired, they gave it back to me after resetting the computer of the car, and charging me quite a bit of money to do so. 4 days after i got it back the malfunctioning started again, my car is an automatic but it is not changing gear & it is shuddering while i drive it, it does not break properly and feels very unsafe. I took it back to Lyndhurst yesterday. Funi is the person i left my car with, she never phones to update me on the progress of my car, i have to phone in and ask about it every few hrs. the most recent update i have got is that there is nothing wrong with my car! they have taken it for a test drive and it goes fine! I'm not sure why they do not have a reliable way of doing an analysis of a computer malfunction! i have told them to reformat the software of the computer becuase my car is not going fine, it is not changing gear, but apparently the only diagnostic they r able to do is a test drive around the block. I am very frustrated with Lyndhurst Auto, BMW is a huge brand that should take more pride in customer service and resolving problems!
