I bought a car from Gert at Lyttleton Motors. Gert was not an MFC approved dealer so he did the deal through a partner in the industry. I am now paying double for this car and I was charged for a canopy that I never even got. It has given me nothing but problems. 3 months after I bought the car it overheated and I had to pay for a new head R10000 later. Went to the dealer and said to him the car is a piece of junk and I cant even frive it. I had no joy and eventually I sent in a written complaint to MFC who advised me that if I was not happy I was entitled to uplift the deal. The dealer got hold of the complaints letter and we had a meeting. In short he said that he refuses to uplift the deal and he will fix the car with the Motor plan I purchased (not out of his own pocket). GOt the car back smoking as bad as before with no real difference except with the excelerate cable. He also threatenend that if I do in fact go back to MFC he will not fix the car and he refuses to uplift the deal.. the car is standing again... and I cannot fix it as I do not have the money.
