Service
On the 9th July I visited the MacDonld's Restaurant in the shopping center at 152nd Street and Highway #10 in Surrey at or near 6:00pm. I arrived at the pick-up window and waited for the staff to package my order of McChicken Meal, Quarter Pounder Meal and Chicken McNugets Meal. When the employee reached accross the gap and put the meal bag in the car window, the bag ripped and the contents spilt out accross my lap, the front seat and the floor. I looked at the employee waiting for an apology but none was forthcoming. As the McNugets container had split open I asked for another package of McNugets. Meanwhile I was picking the McNugets off the floor and trying to place the French Fries back in the red containers so all 3 of us received equal shares. As there were now 5 cars behind me I pulled into a parking spot to clean out the car. I noticed that none of us had received the drinks which came with the meals. I got out of my car and entered the restaurant. I asked for the Manger and told him the situation. I recognized him as he was with the other employee when the bag ripped open. I asked him for the drinks as they were not provided as yet. The 3 drinks were poured and he gave them to me on a cardboard tray. I asked him for straws and he just pointed behind me where I could get them myself. Throughout this whole episode not once did I receive an apology from the employee or the Manager. When I got the drinks I returned to the car and continued on our trip. My grandson in the back seat then asked, "Papa, was there any dipping sauce for his McNugets?" I replied, "Sorry Ben, this was also forgotten!"

rude service
Her name is Katie, a young supervisor on evenings shift. If you disagree with her, she not only asks you to leave, she will not wait on you even 2 months later. Some people who get a little power do not know how to use to the company benefit. If I were the one who hired her, I would give her warnings before firing to improve her interactions with customers. No employee should chase away customers. Anyone remember the Soup Nazi on Seinfeld?

uncleanliness
I would like to bring attention to the conditions of the play area at this MacDonald's Restaurant...my friend and I visited this restaurant on or about March 24, 2008...it was very apparent that the floor in this play area had not been washed for some time...spots on the floor where liquids had been spilled were black and sticky...the tunnels and play area are very dirty...we were there for about one hour and no employee came in to check on the area...kids were climbing up the maze with muddy boots on their feet...One could clearly see the floor here had not been swept or vacuumed in some time...many tables still had food left on them after people at these tables had left...the whole play area cries out for a great cleaning..Thank You for listening...

Had to go to emergency after a meal!
Yesterday, 3/19/08, my husband and I stopped at Store #19822, in Gray, GA. We went through the drive-thru to order. The server was courteous and the service was prompt. The food (burger, fries, milkshake and two orders of apple pies. Everything was fine, even the first apple pie. As we drove on, he ate another pie. We stopped at another store further down the road. As we entered, he grabbed his chest. He said it felt like his heart was going to jump out of his chest. He was dizzy and his stomach queezy and he breathing very fast. There is a Med Center across from where we were. After an assessment, bloodwork, E.K.G., and a swift push of IV fluid, the doctor agreed it was something he had eaten. My husband said to me on our way over to the Med Center, that the second pie tasted funny to him-but because he recently stopped smoking, thought it may just have been the way his taste buds were reacting and ate it anyway.
My husband does not have heart problems, blood pressure problems or anything like that. On arrival, during the triage session, my husbands pulse was 126. He was dizzy, queezy, and feeling very weak and seemed to be out of breath. He had no symptoms of any distress, of this nature, before eating the food. I do not know what will be done about this, but I do expect something for his serious inconvenience. I have our receipt and the doctor's report.
