Dear Sirs: I wish to bring to your attention an environmentally critical issue in regards to your containment design of your beverage cups w/ clear plastic cover.
As a wildlife rehabilitator I have seen this occur three times in the last few months. Evidently the diameter of your "doomed" plastic collars about the fruit drinks is small enough for several mammal species to squeeze their heads through; yet cannot remove them. Today I rescued a baby skunk from a slow death by dehydration as a result of just such a cover.I would be happy to send you photographs of the crisis to add to my credibility. I am considering taking this issue up with the media and hopefully before it comes to that you might consider changing the design or simply applying a flat, clear, conventional lid to protect the contents.
Thank you for your time and consideration in this matter.
