This is with regard to a courier that i was to receive from Moneylife magazine (www.moneylife.in). After waiting for sometime, i called up their office to enquire whether the subscribers copy had been mailed, to which the receiver of the call replied affirmatively. She followed up and called back to mention the courier name and the phone number of a contact person in Pune. When i called up the number and enquired about the same, he promised delivery in a couple of hours, but no delivery was made even after 5 hours. Annoyed by the service levels, i called Mr. Rajesh from Madhur Courier again and he started being arrogant, irresponsible and rude. When i asked him when the delivery would happen, he replied back saying, " Mujhe aap ko safai dene ki zaroorat nahi hai-jisne mujhe courier ka order diya, mei usi ko safai dunga, theek hai?" and banged the phone.

I believe companies like Madhur Courier should take some lessons on customer service standards. Utterly irresponsible, rude behavior-unfit to be in the services sector

I had sent five couriers to different locations on 02.11.2007 through Madhur Courier Service, 451/455, Kalbadevi Road, Chikhal House, Ground Floor, Opp. Bhangwadi, Mumbai - 400002 Phone No. 22065861 (Docket Nos. 25596131 to Aligarh, 25596133 to Moradabad, 25596135 to Boisar, 25596136 & 25596137 to New Delhi).

Out of these five packets, three were delivered to respective addressees. Two (to Boisar & Moradabad) were not delivered till 12.11.2007. On 13.11.2007, I lodged a complaint with them personally and booked another courier (docket no. 25597393 to New Delhi) through them. They assured me of doing the needful.

On 14.11.2007, I was informed that packet from Boisar has come back to them as undelivered and I was asked to come to their office and collect it personally.

I visited them in person in the evening. They returned the envelope returned from Boisar. It was not my envelope as I could see it from its writings. It was bearing the slip of Airspeed Courier Pvt. Ltd. having phone no. as 2393149 & POD No. as L 301471. The consignor was shown as Rightman Express and not as Madhur Courier Service. The booking date is 08.11.07 while I booked it on 02.11.07. It means that they were sitting for 6 full days on it in Mumbai itself without caring for its delivery. The envelope was not bearing the sticker of docket no. affixed before me while accepting the envelope. It was opened by these people and original contents were removed by them. When I protested and asked for refund of money I paid on this behalf. The lady called the owner of the shop, who came within 3-4 minutes and started abusing me in unprintable words, snatched my bag & threw it and pushed me and assaulted me. As a result, my spectacles got thrown & bore the crack on its glass now needs to be replaced. All such indecent behaviour was uncalled for and unwarranted. The owner needs to be punished for such an callous behaviour. I am 59 years in age & the owner was hardly 30. He showed me his might and physical strength for few rupees. He was never told by his parents to deal with people with decency though he is in service industry. For him, money is GOD and could do any thing for it.

The fate of remaining envelopes to Moradabad-25596133 and to New Delhi - 25597397 is still unknown.

The slip of AirSpeed shows Rs. 4/- as charges whereas Madhur Courier charged me Rs. 10/-.

Would you please me in getting the justice?
