Stay away from them
Ordered a subscription to Threads from Tauton Press a year and a half ago. I was billed on my credit card and have yet to receive a single issue. Complaints to the service department are met with standard form letter.

Never Received Subscription
In Sept 09 I orders Rug Hooking magazine and paid $30.95 for one year. I was told it would take 3-4 months for the subscription to begin as it was a quarterly magazine. I waited until Feb 10 and still had not received it - I called and left messages numerous times - no one ever called me back. I submitted several emails to customer service and never received any response. This company is a total FRAUD - I will never do business with them again.

No magazines at Magazine City
2 magazines ordered in December have not been received. Numerous phone calls to the 'machine' go unanswered. I tired for hours straight, nothing but the 'machine' and music. No response from e-mails either.Terrible customer service is an understatement. I am not sure but maybe no one turned off the 'machine' when they closed the storage closet they were using for an office.

This company is a scam, designed to rip you off
I bought a magazine through this company in August, 2008, and still have not received it by May, 2009! Ongoing calls and e-mails go unanswered. I think this company is a scam, designed to rip you off.

They should be sued
I ordered a magazine in dec of last year and have not received it. I sent 2 emails with no response. why is this web site still operating? They should be sued.

I have never in my life been scammed by an online company
I have never in my life been scammed by an online company anywhere in the world until now. I paid about $125 for a subscription 7 1/2 months ago and my desperate attempts to get them to tell me when on earth i can expect the first issue has gone unheeded. I gave them the benefit of the doubt to such an extent that i didn't even send them an e-mail until i'd waited about 4 months (i'm a trusting person and pretty patient). I got one response telling me that this time frame is a pretty normal thing. Since this initial response, no response at all. What's more i'm not even in the US so i feel even more powerless than you other poor guys in getting a refund. I really wish i wasn't so trusting... i hate how you have to learn things the hard way! (But good luck to all of you, i hope it's better than mine!) Oh and i will be telling everyone i know not to ever order from this company, which doesn't matter really considering they pocket the money and obviously don't even put in the order to the magazine, the perfect crime!

Fraudulent company makes unauthorized charges
Ordered magazine for granddaughters in January..It is April 11, and still no magazine. Tried calling, put on hold for 10 minutes, then recording telling me to call back during business hours (it was business hours all the times I called). Form answer to many emails. My credit card was charged the day I ordered.

It seems to be impossible to get a customer representative on the line
I ordered a few magazines over a year ago. I never received a single issue. I contacted them about 50 times ever since. They said they had to reprocess the order - blah blah blah...A "supervisor" named Christine promised me a refund which of course I never received. I don't know what to do. At the moment it seems to be impossible to get a customer representative on the line. Has their ship left earth?

What a joke of a company
Magazinecity... what a joke of a company. Ordered a magazine subscription gift for my granddaughters in January. It is now almost three months later. Call the number given and you get 6 minutes of music, then a message that tells you to call back during business hours (which I was doing)..then thank you, goodbye. Never again...

Rip off
These people suck at life. My husband ordered magazines for us for Christmas in 2007 and it's been over a year with 1 of the magazines showing up 2 or 3 times and the other two never showed up at all. I've been on the phone with them no less than 7 times, the last two times asking to speak to a manager which I never get. I only get voicemail. Do NOT under any circumstance order from them.
