No delivery or refund 1 1/2 years later
I ordered Consumer Reports from Magazine City online as a Christmas gift for Christmas 2007 (yes two Christmas' ago!) and I have called and emailed them repeatedly and get the same mundane messages that some manager or HR will get back to me and no one ever has. I finally requested a refund over 6 months ago and never received that either. I am very frustrated. Also I have left voice messages for the "supervisor" and no return call (or email) from them either. Obviously I would never do business with this company again--totally a rip off!

Fraud and scam
I had subscribed to a magazine on their website. after waiting 2 months, I did not receive any publications. I phoned & they said the company was having trouble sending out their magazines but would be sending an issue within a month. This process repeated for over a year, when i finally asked for my money back. they said that I would receive payment within 2 months. This did not happen. i now am out over $100.00.

NEVER RECIVED MAGAZINES!!
I ordered 2 magazines subscriptions back in Feburay 2008 for my husband for Valentines Day - they charged my credit card but I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED THEM!!! - I have made numerous calls - the WORST customer service I have EVER received.
Called in July was told the order was never processed - they would re-submit - wait another 6-8 weeks...still no magazines!! Called back in November - was told that a Supervisor would call me back - again NO phone call or magazines...
Called a few times in between was always told just give it another few weeks blah blah!!! Called again asked for my money back was told again that a Supervisor would call back - never received a call back
Finally called again today January 6/08 - was told that they would re-submit or refund my money in 3-4 weeks!!! I told them i wanted it plus interest because it was paid in American Funds back in Feb 2008 when Canadian was worth par...was told no way. Asked to speak to the Director was told she was busy...told them I would wait - FINALLY got thru to her and she basically told me that she would refund my money at the end of business today and then hung up on me...SO never never never order from this company!!!

Money paid 8 months ago, but not magazine!!
Nothing new with my response. Ordered a magazine for my son's birthday in May of 08, and as of Jan. of 09 still no magazine. We have called at least 8 times, but the same BS is given each time.
I don't understand why the FCC doesn't step in, or a state's attorney general. All I ever read about these guys is that they continue to rip off people.
Get your local politician involved, and see if they can earn their keep.

Rip off company
Ordered two magazines. Started receiving one. Made a phone call and I was assured it was on its way. 5 months later... phone call to cancel order... stopped getting magazine but no refund came. Third, Fourth, and Fifth calls to cancel... started getting one magazine again. Sixth call to cancel... stopped getting magazine but still no refund. These people are complete morons. F%$* MAGAZINE CITY.

Never received item purchased
I purchased a subscription for a magazine in May.It is now November and I have never received a single thing. I have sent numerous emails letters and tried yo reach them by phone, all with no luck. These people are extremely deceitful > Do busin ess with them at your own risk.

Rip off

Fraud and cheating
Do Not order anything from Magazine City. They are a total scam!!! All they do is take your money, and ignore you. I ordered a magazine in May and still did not get one issue, when you call them they totally ignore you. I am sick of calling. I am going to the Better Business Bureau... Hopefully they can help me, at this point it's not the money, its the point of the whole thing. In this day and age I guess I shouldn't be surprised by this whole thing. I guess they are laughing all the way to the bank.

money taken and no magazine delivered
I ordered a magazine back in January and it still hasn't been delivered. I've called twice, before and they said it would be coming soon. I just called again today and they gave me a October 30th arrival date. Now I think 9 months to get a magazine is a little much. And I have a feeling I'm just being put off again. Lesson learned don't order over the internet. This was a Christmas present for my grandaughter and she's been waiting all year. It's really bad as when you order by mail they're showing up within the month.

No Issues received
I ordered 2magazines for a year subscription and never received 1 issue. The order Was placed March 31 2008. It is now October and nothing I keep e mailing but noresponse.this was an international order so I paid for int. shipping too. I am now out of $100.00
