Bought a map update from Magellan using the directions on their website. When received, the sd card did not work. I contacted them and was told that the card was incompatible with my unit. I was also told that it was not returnable and no refund would be made.

My unit is registered with Magellan through their website. The directions I used on their website said that an update was available and compatible with my registered unit. No where on the site or in the packing materials was their any information that this update would not be compatible with my unit. Their position that they will not refund me my money when they have made a mistake is unbelievable.

Of note is that the update cost almost as much as a new unit. So I am selling it and buying a Garmin. I will never purchase anything from Magellan again.
