Memorial Day weekend 2011. Absolutely Horrible Place!! Rude, obnoxious employees (seemingly low level of education), If you have read any reviews that seem to paint this place as a "Great Place", it must be written by the owners or managers. This is my first time posting anything to any website about my dissatisfaction. But, I feel the need to WARN any parent regarding this horrendous place. I now refer to this place as TRAGIC FOREST. It is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Mark my words, there will be a tragedy involving this park and it's beat-up rides. ...ropes for restraints(if there were working restraints), rusty tracks and carts on rides, easy for any child to fall out of rides. They do not allow parents to ride with their child even if there is NOBODY else on it. The persons at the rides are unattentive, thre is no way they would be able to stop a ride quickly if needed, because they are not paying attention!!! They have a horrible little train that drives you through a wooded area. A few faded and broken fiberglass characters strewn throughout the ride. We sat in the front car, behind the driver...Worse decision to make!!! the fumes of the lawnmower engine spewed so much Carbon Monoxide straight to our faces, we held our breaths as much as we could, while fanning the little one. We were very very concerned for our health and saftey... you should be too, if you decide not to head this warning. The fiberglass statues that are displayed throughout the park are absolutely scary and ugly for a small child, they are faded, cracked, broken...not to mention the appearance of the faces... something out of a Steven King Movie!! And Animals???!!! what animals!! Goats and more Goats...that's it!!! Stinky, scrawny...semingly unhappy little things. When we walked by, our 2-year old said..."mommy...that's stinky peepee.." There was no water in their trough...on a warm humid day. Luckily we did not see the Horse...it was "resting". This Place is DIRTY!! they say you can bring a meal to picnic... There is nowhere to eat...they have picnic tables which are filthy dirty with a mossy layer on top...UUUGH. There is sooooo much more to tell...but getting lenghty. Brought this to the attention of the manager (Shelly ?) She yelled at us for wanting our money (75.00) back. She became very belligerent when we brought up the fact that we felt the rides were not safe... She blew a gasket!!! Hit a nerve spot did we??? I think there's something fishy about how this County code enforcement would allow something like this to stay open...hmmmm? It's going to cost the County way more $$$ to settle something in court when tragedy strikes. Safety is the biggest concern, Cleanliness is important, appealing and inviting and pleasantness should be there as well... There is NONE of that! Save your Money... There's a reason why the parkinglot is empty!!! Theyre making they're income off First-timers... cause I can guarantee No one goes back!
