I sent the magic jack back, you received it on sept. 6. Ihaven't gotten my refund yet.

I ordered the magic jack due to free trial and would not bill for 30 days however at the end said it would bill immediately. so i closed out without hitting the ship now. guess what order still go processed and shipped out even after I replied to the order email within hours saying I didn't want it if it was billing me now. I then talked to a customer service rep who assured me that i would get a credit back on my card until my 30 day trial and allow 3 days what a shock nothing was done about it after all most a week so i ask today and he says well no credit so i said fine I am shipping it back would have just put return to sender on it previously. I explained don't want to do business with a company that is not standing behind its word for the get go. the red flag should have really been for me when they shipped it without conformation. I even contacted my bank about the charges as well. Customer service is a scam. I highly doubt I will see my money back now even after i return this thing.

Customer agent doesn't know how to handle questions. Their answers are scripted and won't address the issue being asked. Very poor customer support and cut off the chat talk when you try to file a complaint. I asked where could I buy the phone equipment (handset) and they tell you that it is included in the magicjack device. They don't know what a magicjack device versus an actual phone set. I asked how much do I have to pay for a 5 year plan and they will tell you to go to the website and click the extend license. But the price in their website is higher that what they're telling me during the chat talk.

The first Magic Jack did not arrive. After 2-1 hour chats, they sent a second one which arrived. It worked for about 2 days until they forced an upgrade. It no longer works. I used chat support for 2 hours and 5 minutes to try everything to get it to work. They will send me another one for another $47. I don't think I will waste my money.

The only thing worse than the actual MagicJack is the the MagicJack Chat support.

Although I only received it on September 15, I have to return it by October 5. This does not sound like a 30 day guarantee to me.

Do not buy a Magic Jack.

i ORDERED PRODUCT FROM TV AD THEY STATE 1PLUG IN TO COMPUTER 2 PLUG PHONE IN AND MAKE YOUR CALLSTHIS IS ABSOLUTLEY NOT TRUE i SPENT 3 HOURS ON LINE TRYING TO GET HELP AT THE WEB SITE IT FINALLY WORED FOR TWO DAYS NOW NOT WORKING AGAIN THIS COM[PANY NEEDS TO GET REAL PHONE NUMBERS WITH REAL PEOPLE TO HELP i WOULD NEVER RECOMEND THIS PRODUCT OR COMPANT TO ANYONE!!!
