My aunt (who is in her 50s, diabetic, blind, incontinent, etc.etc.) was recently placed in Magnolia Manor nursing home in Winona, Mississippi.
My uncle had to remove her after a week because the nursing staff was verbally/psychologically abusing her, allowing her to lay soiled in her own waste for hours on end, making fun of her, not administering her medications on time, etc.
This is an outrage. If you work in the CARING profession, your job is to take care of those who can't care for themselves. If you think you are too good to clean and care for a patient, STAY THE HELL OUT OF THE MEDICAL FIELD.
