Buyer beware - it's complete fraud!
I ordered two magazines from Magsforless on June 10, 2006. This company billed my credit card and received their payment. However, after a number of months without receiving my renewal magazines, I checked their website for the status of my order, which showed it was completed. On January 20, 2007 I emailed a complaint to the company and received a phone call from a female representative stating they found the problem, apologized, and promised immediate delivery. I still haven't received the magazines. Today is May 20, 2007. I went to their website again. This time I requested a complete refund, which is supposed to be issued to me within the next 14 days. This company appears to be a complete fraud. Is there a class action suit being formed against them? If not, there most certainly should be... Buyer beware!

Fraud!
This company is absolutely horrible. I ordered a magazine subscription - they took my money - and I never heard from them again. The "complaint" form on their website does nothing. The phone number they provide will never get you to a live person. I filed a complaint with the BBB - but they wrote back after 5 months saying they could never get a hold of them.

No promised delivery!
I ordered some magazines and MagsForLess/Magazines deducted the money from my account and promised me the gift subscription but it was never received and I have not gotten a refund of my money and the number provided on my bank statement is always busy and I cannot get through. This seems to be a rip off. The order number sent to my email in non verifiable. I want my money refunded or the subscriptions sent.

Never received magazines
I ordered Magazines on 10th Nov 2006 from MagsForLess and so far i didn't get any magazines. I paid around 18$ for this website and no information is available from customer care service. MagsForLess are not replying for my emails and they dont have any customer care phone no... What to do?

Letter from the CEO!
I've been reading all of the complaints on this company. I rummaged through their site and found the site map. In there, you can find a letter from their "CEO", or something like that. Here it is...

Dear Customer,

Over the last several months a series of events have occurred that have resulted in a large number of customers not receiving their magazine subscriptions nor a timely response from our customer service team. As it turns out, we received more orders than our order management system could handle and as a result, the system collapsed. The collapse of the system resulted in some customer orders not being submitted to our suppliers and publishers, which led many customers to contact our customer support team with order inquiries. These inquires have overwhelmed the customer service team who have not been able to reply in the usual 12 hour window.

On behalf of the entire company, I am deeply sorry for any frustration and inconvenience this may have caused you. Please be aware that we have initiated major changes to make sure that these problems get resolved 100% to your satisfaction and never happen again. We have upgraded our order management system so it will now be able to handle a very high order volume. This upgraded system should ensure that 99.99% of all orders get processed correctly. We have also tripled the size of the customer service team to ensure that every single customer receives a resolution of their choosing. The customer service team promises to respond to all customers by April 2. I ask now for your continued patience through this time.

I personally apologize for the mistakes made during recent months and I assure you once more that measures are in place to prevent them in the future.

Undoubtedly, this is just another cover to keep people off their back. I don't expect to get my money back from them, nor should you. I would, however, think it a good idea for each of us to write the above email address and tell them all that's on our minds. Even if he doesn't get those emails, perhaps we can overload it with the sheer number of complaints. Its the least we can do for having had our money stolen from us.

Scumbags and liars
Magsforless is a bunch of crooks, scumbags and liars. After not receiving any of my magazines for almost a year, I filed the first complaint, and someone from magsforless contacted me and promised me a delivery time of 4 - 8weeks. Now it's been 5 weeks, and I sent that person a couple emails inquiring the subscription status, so far, not a single word.

They are a bunch of crooks and liars, and it is their standard gimmik to buy more time by keeping giving out empty promises. I wish the FBI will clean them out.

My only complaint
So I ordered the year worth of their fashion package and then heard through a friend that their orders get mixed up a lot and lost. This after I purchased it and was about to get ELLE as well! So I let it go and see because I knew the whole 60-day credit card thing. I even went as far to alert Discover. Who knew I got my first installment earlier then expected and have never had a problem at all. My ONLY complaint is not ordering the ELLE along with it since the price has changed since then.

Magazine order for 4 yrs not received
It's been about 1 year since I placed an order for 4 years of Interview Magazine and No magazines although the order is listed as completed. Interview says they have never received the order from MagsforLess to process. Nothing, but MagsforLess charged my credit card the day the order was placed. Fraud and illegal charge.

They smartly cheated me dollars
No magazines received. The company mailed me exactly after 60 days I will get my magazines. But I came to know that '60 days' is actually time period after which credit card dispute claim will no longer be possible. As a group this company should be sued and CEO should be put inside the bar. Can we create yahoo group against this company and sue them ?
