I had subscribed for a mail Today subscription for one year starting April 2008. The cheque was given to the vendor and he promised the rest will be taken care of. However for the whole of April, no paper was delivered saying that he is waiting for the coupons.Later after delivering for a few months, he again topped from dec 2008 onwards saying that he does not have the coupons and that I should complain to Mail today. I got no response from the number of executive he ha given. So I contacted the Delhi office. I was given a different number to contact and was given a complaint number 1702090026 on 17 Feb 2009. I was told that all coupons ere given to the newwspaper vendor and he should suppy. The vendor says he has got none and I should pay for back papers delivered.

There is no resolution to the complaint. No one contacted me. if I contact the number is busy or not anwered. The website of mail today has no email address for subscription complaints.

So I am just putting this message here that if you intend to go for a yearly subscription-- don't.You will be fleeced by the paper vendor and the local executive of Mail today combined.
