slave wages
I'm not going to totally rip the co. I just want to make people aware. As a truck driver with 10 years & a million miles safely drove, I thought this would be the co. I could retire with. But, was soon disallustrationed, They tempt drivers with 78 cpm but dont tell u you have to buy the fuel, at todays prices thats most of your pay. then they make you pay for transportation to your next pick-up, which could be hundreds of miles, no compensation what so ever, and no pay for your time spent on the bus, and waiting in bus stations, dont forget the money it took to get to the bus station, sometimes a hundred dollars, as they leave you stranded in places a rabbit wouldnt go. What did it for me, on my 5th trip was a freak snowstorm in Texarcana, closed the bus station, their i was sitting outside in a snowstorm freezing cold and called them for help. John the dispatcher i talked to said, BOY, YOU GOT TO PUT ON YOUR BIG BOY PANTS AND DEAL WITH IT. with no offer of any kind of help, i could have easily froze to death, I responded to FK himself and so on, as anyone in a life threating situation would do. So, U can expect no help whatsoever if you work for this co. of good ol boy houisers, the dispatchers decide whether or not someone works, they dont even call you to see what happend, they just fire you, hundreds of miles away from home. It cost me over $500 to rent a car and get home. In my opionion this co. sucks bad, I would think twice before working for them. It works out to about 15 cents per mile all said and done, you would do better at burger king or anywhere.
