I worked for 2 months for this contractor (Mark Biggs) with the agreement that I would turn in my invoices for work preformed, and be paid within 30 days. Mr. Biggs has strung me along for nearly 4 months with creative excuses (lies) as to why he has not paid me yet. I finally threatened to file a legal claim against him if payment was not sent immediately. This is his response:
Check is in the mail as scheduled. You should recieve it by tomorrow.
I thought about letting you file a claim against me rather than paying you. You would've bought me 2-3 months worth of time and all I would have paid is $60 court costs, but I thought I'd be nice and pay you when I told you I would.
Good luck on your life.
If I indeed receive a check, it will be the first time he has kept his word.
This man contracts cleaning of move-out apartments in Savannah Georgia. My point is, if he will cheat and lie to a persons face, how can an apartment manager put any trust in him?
He is a deadbeat contractor. Anyone looking for work should stay clear of Mark Biggs and M&M Contracting.
