Maruthi boasts for the best service and support, but I strongly disagree with this after the service I have got from Mandovi Motors, Mysore in last few months.
We have a Swift, and we had met with an accident on Aug 18th 2008, this was realtively a major one and we had gone through all the formalities of the RTO & Traffic Police to get the Car to Mandovi Service Centre to get it repaired. It was moved there around Aug 25th 2008. The estimations were done and the delivery of car was promised in 3 weeks from then, which was beginning of Sep 3rd week. But after multiple visits and repeated enquiries we recieved the Car on Oct 21st 2008. The worst part was that the delivered Car had multiple defects even after such a delay which puts a big question mark on the quality of the service as well.
To list out the few defects:
- The AC was not functioning.
- The SX4 wiper was used instead of the Swift wiper and this led too much of noise and it was going over the windshield. The worst part, was that the service person argued that it was correct and it will become perferct on mutilpe usage.
- The indicators were not working.
- The Engine of the Car was never looked upon for service. The drive was not smooth.
- The Driver comfort was not closed to the Swift standards.
- There was a color and texture difference in the pillars of the Window for the newly fitted Doors when compared to the existing ones.
- The Dash borad below the steering wheel was not fixed properly and it was shaky.
- The bonnet was shaky, as the required bushes were not added and was making rattling noise.
There were many more defects, which were available on the day of delivery and this really looks surprising.
