I agree with the first complainant. I bought over 10 years ago myself and was sold the same bill of goods. Even when you call the maximum 9 months in advance time frame, you can't get one single night. Then you get all kinds of excuses like, "International travelers are booking long in advance". I don't care who is booking what. The bottom line is that I was told one thing, and got another- or rather, nothing in return. Our maintenance fees mysteriously went from $800 to over $1, 800 per year, when we were told that they would not increase because there are no real amenities (i.e. pool, golf, etc.). It is a waste of time and money. Then when you complain that you will not pay your fees, they tell you that they will turn your file over to collection and ruin your credit rating. Great people. Perhaps that is why one on-line timeshare sale site has over 300 Manhattan Club units for sale. Don't get suckered in by them. They are liars and thieves.
