Mr. Waterford, we purchased a used gmc truck from you a couple of weeks ago and traded my truck in as well. We worked with Jacob who was very pleasing to work with. The agreement we had reached in the deal was that we would buy the truck if the whining noise was repaired, at the time we thought it was the fuel pump which later turned out to be the power steering pump after your service dept. checked. Also as part of the deal, we would get a new alarm system and we would purchase tires at your cost price!

Thursday, August 5th, I brought the truck in from Sacramento, where I live to get these services done. I anticipated that you would need the truck overnight and rented a car from enterprise up the street, who were very accommodating to my needs. I stayed in Manteca shopping until I heard from Mike in service that they would need the vehicle left overnight to finish job.

I returned Friday with my wife, in the morning because I had to return rental by 10 am. We walked around town and even went to a movie, when Mike called around 3 pm that they confirmed the steering pump was making the noise and asked to return Monday to have it repaired. I was a little upset then that in two days you were just getting to the main problem, which to me should have been addressed first before even sending truck out for tires and alarm. Mike stated that they did not get the truck back until 12 pm Friday from alarm company.

I returned Monday and was there at 7.00 am and told Mike that I needed the truck back by noon so I could make it to work. He said ok and I waited for truck until about 11:30 am in which Mike informed me that the new steering pump was defective and was asked to bring back Wednesday. Now I am really upset that your service department has had my truck for three days and still is not repaired. I had to take time off from work Thursday and rent a car as well.

I asked if I could just leave the truck here and you give me a rental and I will pick up after work Tuesday, I was told no from Mike. What I gather when he was speaking to your sales rep that the vehicle is operable and they don’t have to. They were whispering so I could not hear the conversation.

I have made 3 trips now from Sacramento, with gas it starts to add up let alone putting extra mileage on truck. I feel since your flipping the bill for the pump that your company doesn’t need to do me any favors. Don’t forget I PAID OVER 9 THOUSAND FOR THE TRUCK!!!

Let be known I am sending a complaint to Ford and I will never do business with your company again!
