We went over the weekend 5 - 7 march, we were 5 adults 1 child of 9 and 1 under 3 and a 16 month baby, we were forced to pay R200 per night for each baby as we were exceeding the maximun people per room, the lady told us it was the law as if a fire or something started insurance would not pay out as we had too many people, so we had to pay a fine total of R800 for 2 nights, so now tell me once you have stolen our money does the law now not apply. They blame RCI and say it is there rule, RCI says it has nothing to do with them it is soley the resorts procedure. Is it justified that a 16month old baby who has his own cott, sheets etc uses nothing of theres should be charded R400, no other resort that we have ever been to charges for a 16 month old. she told us either pay or leave.
further more we were charged R160 for a game card, you have to buy this before you can play put put etc, but you have to pay for everyone one in the room, so before we could play we had to pay for my 16 month old who cant play put put etc or no one can play.
not all, rats in the ceiling kept us awake all night chewing and scratching, so bad that we left on sunday rather than monday like planned.
