Be careful if you are a freelancer and get any work from this company because they make you work hard for free.
I am a freelancer doing drafting with auto cad, I got the email from Blake Gross and later from Florin Novac (Mariani Metal Fabricators Company) to do one of their drawings and bring it to them and if they accept to finish the job, went there and talked to Blake Gross he checked my sample drawing and said is okay then regarding the fee I said this is going to cost minimum 1000$ (which really I had underestimated and the real cost to do all drawings had to be at least 1800$) and he said your competitor asks 650 I said okay I can charge this fee but I will do only pdf to cad and will not change anything just will copy everything from pdf file to cad and he said yes we want just drawings from pdf to cad, he didn’t want any contract or anything so I asked at least I need 100$ to start and they issued a check for that, I did a part of the drawings and sent them and mentioned can’t be ready in this time frame because I was hoping a friend will help me and he had a problem with his computer so they added more time and I did 38 drawings from pdf to cad regarding the fee (650$) because it was very low for all that job I mentioned again with email that you should not expect scale and despite all the pressure that they put on me for the delivery time schedule when I gave them all the files (which part of that I had sent by email before) they said no we can’t work with these drawings because are not scaled and they didn't pay anything for my hard work about 70 hours, except the initial 100$ which means I worked for almost 1$/h this is a total exploitation and brutality of this people.
