Daylight robbery in this day and age
We are aware of the NCA and the regulations that come with having a credit facility. However, this retailer expects you to pay 15% with every purchase you make, should you not utilize your entire credit facility in one go until your first statement arrives. I fail to understand why grant credit if you have no faith in your consumers that clearly pays your salary and sometimes need to do your job for you. There are sufficient retailers that are of good judgment and grant exceptional Customer service that do not rip off there consumers, whether it be first time account holders or not. As Consumers we are not stupid, the 15% reduces your balance, but when your first statement arrives with your instalment due month end, the amount you have paid thus far is a pretty sum of which cash would be best than having a credit facility with you. There “CUSTOMER SERVICE”, have the rudest agents who does not know the importance of Customer care. It is regrettable that my husband had to purchase on the account, but I guarantee you that once this small balance is paid by month end, it will be closed as my profile speaks volumes and we can take our business elsewhere.

Rudeness and not following up
I was called from the markham's call center, i was being offered some random product, by an agent called Jade (she was friendly), i wanted a full explanation of the product she was offering, then she passed the call onto the Night Supervisor Erica, who passed it on to another agent and when doing so she said 'take this call this guys is taking us for a pop.' Is this the way markham's speaks about their clients?!?!?!?!?! This had me totally flabbergasted, when i asked her what she meant by that she denied that she said it and passed the call to a manager, Khaya, who told me that she never said it, and that that is not the way the deal with clients, I clearly heard this say this, and i wanted the call to be reviewed as i was informed that the call was being recorded, Khaya promised me that the call would be reviewd and that he would get back to me, this was tuesday evening, Khaya promised to call me back on wednesday morning, and I have not received any call as of yet. As a customer i have no time for incompetence and empty promises, the call lasted 16 minutes, so i'm sure it must of stood out inb the call log, but it still has not been followed up!!! I patiently await the call.
