Markwest Investment Group defaulted on a loan agreement. A representative from the company contacted my husband (Andy Bell) and asked him to fax documents stating proof of identity (Driver's License); proof of employment (Pay Stub); and proof of residence (Utility Bill, with name and address). After we faxed those items, they faxed him a contract stating the amount to be borrowed and the payment agreement with fixed interest rate. My husband signed and faxed it back. Then he was contacted by the representative and was instructed to pay three months payments up front, per lender's instructions to ensure the issuance of the loan money. Which he sent three Western Union payment @ $910 each and the cost of $86 each to send them, which he was told he would be reimbursed for those amount. In all they were supposed to deposit $120, 000 plus $258 into his account. Three days has passed since we sent them the money, in which they told us that the money had been released and the deposits had been made, as of today nothing has been deposited. While we were making the transactions we had direct contact with the representative, Thomas (Tom) Keefe, now since we have sent our money, he can't be reached. We have three numbers to the company and all the numbers has a recording stating, " due to high call volume they are unable to take the call, leave name, number, and a brief message and they will return the call." We have left several messages for the past three days, and they haven't returned any of our calls.
