A month or 2 ago I noticed that my cigarettes seemed to be burning out everytime I set them down. Initially I thought that I had purchased a stale pack of cigarettes. They paper burned in a similiar fashion, creating an uneven burn and leaving brown marking on the paper. I statred asking other people if they had noticed anything different. One of my friends finally told me about the supposed "fire safe cigarette". Until today doing some research online and realized new laws have been passed requiring this type of cigarette. There is nothing safe about these cigarettes. I have been burned a few times already re-lighting them because when you relight them the paper does not burn evenly and smalls pieces of burning paper fly away. This is going to cause a fire. Also, how safe is it if I have to inhale twice as hard when smoking the cigarette. I know smoking isn't healthy but producung cigarettes that require the smoker to inhale more deeply is a good thing???? In a atmosphere where cigarette smoking has become more much less popular and are promoting quiting smoking they are making smokers inhale more deeply??? Also groups who have promoted these new FSC's boast that there is no change to the cigarette therefore they are no worse for our health. As everyone knows cigaretee manufacturers lied to the public by withholding information regarding carcinogens in cigarettes causing lung cancer so why would we believe these new studies from groups that claim this new paper will not have an even more adverse affect on our health than the non-FSC.

I HATE THESE NEW FIRE SAFETY CIGARETTES, THEY CAUSE ME TO HAVE HEADACHES, VOMITING, DIZZY AND VERY ILL.THEY HAVE CAUSE ME TO BE VERY ILL, CAUSE ME TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL FOR CHEMICAL POISON.I WANT THESE COMPANIES TO CHANGE BACK OR I WANT BUY ANOTHER FIRE SAFETY CIGARETTE AGAIN, I'LL GO TO SOMETHING ELSE TO REPLACE MY SMOKING HABIT.

Flavor of cigarette not the same. Ash dropping more frequently. Having to re light the cigarette in less than a minute of cigarette not be actively smoked. Headaches, tickling in the throat after smoke resulting in coughing.

Whomever came up with this idea must have been helping the smokers already on the fence to go for their goal of giving up the habit. I know that I plan to. I smoked for the flavor that I enjoyed which is no longer there. So this serves to propel me to quit5

I STARTED SMOKING THESE FSC CIGARETTES 3 WEEKS AGO. I HAVE BEEN SICK EVER SINCE, SORE THROAT, UPSET STOMACH, EXCESSIVE COUGHING, DRY MOUTH. NOT ONLY HAVE I BEEN SICK BUT THOSE THINGS TASTE HORRIBLE. I HAVE SMOKED MARLBORO REDS FOR OVER 20 YEARS, BUT NOT AS LONG AS THEY ARE THE FSC. GOODBYE PHLLIP MORRIS.

I am an african american man who switched from Newport full flavor to Marlboro Light I live in South Carolina, and these things suck it burns more like a joint rather than a cigarette. Switched to back to Newport Light and its burning now! I really did not like the after taste, i agree with saving lives anyway possible how about raising cigarette taxes and lowering prescription and health care cost. I wonder if we are trying to save lives or saving insurance companies cash. Better yet they could be trying to lower the public population. Who knows.
