Dealer Dirty Practice and Ear less behaviour of Maruti customer care
Here is the description for the future customer of Maruti's to keep in mind what kind of reply they can receive from Maruti customer care:
Despite repeatedly asking you for a person who could be my Point of Contact but Alas !! I am getting the same reply. Being such a big market leader sales volume wise cann't you provide a point of contact ? neither you said how you are going to resolve my issues.
What kind hope I can keep after exchanging couple of mails with Maruti and keep getting the same copy/paste reply.
Thanks

Well, I would like to know how my issue would be resolved ?
In my last email I mentioned about what would be the action ? what I would gain for the mental anger I have gone through ? Am i going to get back my cash discount which I was promised ? would the gear lock be installed in my car free of charge ? I asked for a contact person who would address my issue - but you have not provided me any contact person who will deal with my issue ? - For these questions you have not responded to me.
What I can imagine is that - Maruti will call the dealer, scold him for the wrong doing, and than dealer would touch base with me, saying sorry and saying bring your car and we will do this for you and pay your this bill in the end, but Why should I go back to the dealer ? why should I listen to him again ?
If you want to resolve my issue - Provide me with a Point of contact, with whom I can touch base and speak myself . I do not want a plain sorry and its not acceptable to me any more.
I could proving to be tough but Maruti as a company should improve itself in solving the issues as well. I asked for a point of contact but not being provided in your first email. This time I am looking forward to.
If I dont get any satisfactory response from you this time. I am going to put up the whole conversation at the blogs where people can see the customer care response of our reputed companies and make intelligent decisions of their purchases.
many Thanks

Thanks for your reply.
What incentive customer has even if I disclose the name of the dealer and the dealing person. Would I be compensated for the claims about the cash discount etc. At the most what I would be getting just the assurance or the regret from Maruti that this will not happen again.
What about the Cash discount which dealer talked about and when I was taking the delivery I was not given that and it did not came to my mind as I was in the moment to enjoy the new car and complete the paper formalities.
If from Maruti I could be offered any 3 + free services or Gear lock installation or getting back the cash discount about which the dealer was talking about or something which Maruti can do to show a caring attitude towards its customer apart from just a sorry face than probably I can give out the details to the Point of Contact which Maruti can appoint/direct me to in the NCR region.
I have lived abroad in the Europe and US and I know the meaning of customer care where companies do possible things to rectify their errors and try to retain the customer/client for future visits and maintain a goodwill . Lets see this time what my own Home grown admired company provides.
I dont have anything to do with if dealer comes and say Sorry to me. As the empty hand sorry has no meaning for me as we just treat it as no more than a english word.
many Thanks

Subject: Maruti should improve itself and its dealers as well
Hello,
Well to start with - I should say congratulations to you and thanks to me for increasing the Maruti's profit.
I recently purchased the Wagon R but not much impresses with the build quality of the vehicle apart from the Good job done on the CNG technology.
I was planning to cancel my booking and at that moment Maruti was pretty impressive in calling me and confirming me the delivery dates, So, that I
should not cancel my booking but apart from that dealer made a hell lot of fool of us by lingering on, on couple of things like putting up a gear lock etc that it can not be fot in wagon R. Is it true ?
After having a bitter experience where I am not convinced with the Maruti customer care and its closed eye attitude towards the customer care I am committing my to not to buy any Maruti vehicle for the rest of my life.
FYI - I have a Hyundai make car with me and their customer care experience is awesome with the good build quality of the vehicle as well.
many Thanks for listening to me.
