Extended warranty
I have purchased a Maruti Swift VDI Diesel model (DL5CF 2130) from Fair Deal Pvt. Ltd. G.T. Road, Delhi on 16/04/2008. (Retail invoice no 127 dated 16/04/2008)
I have paid Rs. 4995.00 for extended warranty for which i have there payment receipt also.

2 days back i have observed some oil leakage problem in the car and approched Rohan Motors in Greater Noida. They informed me that there is no extened warranty on my car. I was shocked to know this since i have already paid for the same.
Now the repair charges are significantly high and because of non available of extended warranty i am asked to bear this.

This is unacceptable and cheating on for me as i have paid for the extended warranty. I am calling regularly to Fair Deal motors (Contact: Mahinder Sharma) and they say they cannot help me as Maruti company is not responding to there emails and phone calls.

I was wondering if Maruti is also involved in this scam of taking money from innocent people and no services are given in return !!!

I am a service class person and cannot afford such expenses whih are not because of my fault.

I not only request you but BEG you to help me. I have only one car which is lying in Rohan Motors since last 2 days and i am forced to beg for help from others as i need to commute 110 kms everyday for my office.

PLEASE HELP ME URGENTLY and take action aganist such dealers who not only cheat customers but also spoils companies name in the market.

Poor After Sale Service
I bought a Maruti Swift VXI car from Apra Auto, Near IGI Airport on 31st May, 2010. Just after three days I found front left hand side wheel cover was missing. I reported the matter in Customer Care...I go a call asking me of my prb...then was told it was not their job, I asked him then why he called...after that I was given number of Workshop at Okhla...i called and reported the matter..I was called stating that someone will be coming to fix a new wheel cover...but almost after a week someone came and replace the wheel cover...but to my utter surprise...when I went to office one my colleague noticed tht the cover was diff than what i have already in three tyres! This whole practice took almost two to three weeks...height of deceptivness in the hands of Maruti..particularly when it comes to after Sale sservice! Finally I had to send my car for servicing and then got it replaced...But also when I got a call from Service stn Okhla checking with any prb I have with my car..I reported that since i bought this car there is some peculiar but very disturbing noise is coming from left side of my car...but again same thing happened...car was serviced but the problem was not solved...I wrote a letter to GM Okhla...just got a sorry letter...this shows how serious Maruti is now with their Customers whom they have started taken for g ranted...Very Poor...Very Pathetic After Sale Services of Maruti!

Quality of New Car
Dear sir,

I purchased a Maruti Zen Estillo LXi for my parents Regn No. MH04ED8682 on 10th Jan 2010 from spectra motors mumbai.

After only 2700 kms of driving there was an unusual vibration from the engine in the month of April 2010.

I contacted the local authorised servicing centre and was told that the problem was due to a manufacturing defect and the spares are not available for repairs.
I was told that i would be informed when the part would be available.

However nobody from the company contacted me and on inquiry from my side i was told repeatedly that the part was not available.
On the 25th of June i took my vehicle to the service centre and was told that i would have to wait further.

Thereafter i lodged a complaint with the regional office and after many hassles was told that the part was finally available and my car would be made serviceable shortly.

The actual cause of the problem is a manufacturing defect due to improper quality check.

And even then it took more than two months for the company to replace a part no 11610M65L00.
The standards of the company are really coming down.

Negligence in discharging service responsibilities.
I own an Alto and have never missed a service date.

One fine morning I find that the car is dead for want of electrolyte in the battery. So I checked the service manual and found that the service station had placed a tick mark on 'battery check' & 'electrolyte check' every time I had sent the vehicle for service.

I ended up purchasing a new Exide battery for 3050/-

All the four services were done at the same point (service dealer code # 4701) INDUS MOTORS.

I have written repeatedly to the management at the service station but to no avail. The point is I have had to spend money out of my pocket because of their negligence and so I will need to be compensated.

Water is coming inside the car
Dear sir,

I purchased a maruti suzuki alto lx on 02-02-2009 from jabalpur motors ltd., indore(m.p.), dealer's code no.-5302.Just after the 1st servicing, water started coming inside from somwhere in the car, also it comes whaen it is washed or rainfall takes place. I complained for this on the 2nd servicing i.e., 29-07-2009.They said that at time that the defect has been corrected.
But it was not so, just after one day of sevicing, after the rainfall the same problem came again and the water again started coming in and now in more amount than before.
I want this defect to be corrected as soon as possible and jabalpur motors ltd. has been closed.
Please reply me as soon as possible and solve my this problem, otherwise I'll go to the Consumer's Court.

My self Dheeraj Budhiraja Model of my car is Maruti 800 AC of Dec 2006. I was regularly servicing my vehicle at RANA MOTERS at Wazir pur at Delhi. Total milage of my car is 14000 Km. Few days back, i saw there was a starting problem in my car and i faced lots of problems in the middle of the road. i contacted M/s RANA MOTERS in Delhi, they told me that it is battery problem then i bought a new battery in warrenty itself by cash but after few days that same problem was occured in the middle of the road then i called up to on road service given by maruti the technition said sir its a battery problem the same words and the same problemas as well as he was asking for the fee for i said car is in warrenty but he said extended warrenty is a schme of charging money from the customer nothing is covered in extended warrenty NO one can provide a solution to the custmer now i am frustated and writing this mail with the hope of some solution my car is in extnted warranty but no one is here to listen so please take an action and give me the solution for this problem.

Quality of New Car
Dear Shri

I have purchased a Esteem VXI model in March, 2007. During this monsoon car was parked at outside the home. There was more water on the road up to the level of some more than bottom portion of the door. I found that water was coming inside from the fixed panel which is part of the fixed body which touches at the door's bottom portion. This panel is the portion between floor and door's bottom portion.

I have removed the mate from bottom and take the car at Amar Motors Pvt. Ltd. as Bardoa (Gujarat) showroom which is a well known and big showroom in Baroda (Gujarat).

With my surprise technician told that it is normal matter and water should come inside from that panel. I told what is the reason to leave gap for water to come inside when door are tightly fitted and floor has been closed with rubber bush. They don't know the reason.

This is the manufacturing defect of the Maruti Udyog Ltd. Quality check has not been done properly.

I found lot of car having this complain on the day at showroom. No senior man was there to explain the solution to customer.

This is the real present position of Maruti quality and service at show rooms.

Dear Sir,

In the above cited subject, I booked a WaganR Duo (LXI) model on 31.08.2007. At the time of booking time sales executive of Jeevan motors pvt. Ltd., Bhopal (m.p.) Shri Ranjeet Soni told the price of above said car model is about 4.14 Lacs on road, and beside that following items were assured on free of cost.

07 accessories (Doll, Temple, Perfume, Matting, Wheel cover, mud flush, Stirring cover)
Side moulding
Seat cover
Body cover
Due to problem in loan from State Bank of India, I could able to purchase above said car on 18.10.2007. Shri Ranjeet Soni, sales executive of Jeevan motors pvt. Ltd., Bhopal ( m.p.) left the service just 2-3 days before the delivery of my car from Jeevan motors pvt. Ltd.,Bhopal (m.p.).I try to make contact with Shri Ranjeet Soni on cell no. given by him but I could not find, so I talked to team leader Shri Harshendra Jachak. I elaborate all the things which were assured by Shri Ranjeet Soni. He was also agreeing on all things up to 17.10.2007.

But when I reached on 18.10.2007 afternoon to taking the delivery of my car the team leader Shri Harshendra Jachak turn up by 180 degree. He denied giving seat cover & body cover.

It was really painful to me. I make my mind to abandon to purchase the car from Jeevan motors pvt. Ltd., Bhopal, but my kids were keen for car on same date due to holy occasion of Durga Puja (Saptmi). So I delivered the car with out seat cover & body cover in upset mood.

Here it is necessary to write that such type of facilities (seat cover & body cover) given to other customers from which one is my staff.

Beside all these I get shocked due to rudely behavior of team leader Shri Harshendra Jachak. He did not come to me formally to shake hand at the last time, which I think not match the norms set by Maruti Udog ltd.

Therefore I request you please send necessary instructions to Jeevan motors pvt. Ltd., Bhopal, so other customers would not be bluff in such away and suggest for proper behavior with customers.

Sir, I was reluctant to write such happened things but I could not find the change in behavior of staff of Jeevan motors pvt. Ltd., during this long period. So it becomes compulsory to me to write this letter to you. Because I paid total Rs.420327.00 but I received bill of Rs. 399140.00.I repeatedly ask for bill of remaining amount (RTO callan Bhopal), but still I could not get above amount bill or receipt.

Kindly take necessary action. Thanking you sir.

Unawareness or non compliance
a) "Autocard"
Dealers in Pune are not at all aware of autocard points system. They lost the coupon which my very close friend gave to while referring me to Maruti-WagonR.

It appeared that dealers had seen it for the very first time, no one was knowing what to do with the coupon. They finally asked me to leave and they will get back to me.

As usual no call came for 30 days, I went back and demanded for the coupon with stamp. Now, noone knows, which copuan, when did I gave etc...so its total mess now. My friend could have got Rs1000/- for that. Its a big amount which should be given.

b) Non of the sales executives know complete information about the car. Unless one reads maruti's website or other rating websites and magazines he can’t get all the information about features.

c) The loan associates sitting/crowding in the showrooms are the most illiterate people who don’t know anything about their loan scheme and features. All they know is that application form which they have to get filled up. They are the worst guys one can find in the dealers, mine was with HDFC Bank. A very stupid and ignorant fellow.

Unprofessional attitude of a dealer
Inspite of several reminders on daily basis over phone and mails I am still waiting for registration of my vehicle. Whenever I ask for it each time dealer's representative says within a day or two it will be done.

Dealer should aware that without registration I can not take my vehicle anywhere. Please note that If it is caught by traffic police anywhere than company and dealer will be responsible for the same and both will have to pay for the financial loss occurred to me in terms of penalty / fine.

I am not able to understand what is going on and where is the problem. Why so much delay is being occurred for such a simple thing.

If you people are not able to provide complete services then you should clarify it in advance so that the customer can think twice before making any deal with you.

I am surprised as well as shocked to see that even after lodging several written as well oral complaint with Maruti customer care also no action has been taken by either end till date.

This is really disgusting.

Need not to mention again that I have committed a very big mistake by taking delivery of the said vehicle.
