I had pulled over in the parking lot of the business because my 83 year old aunt was having trouble catching her breath and was not feeling well. She was sitting in the car with the door open and her head between her legs. The male business owner came out of the door and started to verbally abuse us, saying that the parking lot is for customers only and we need to buy flowers or get off his property immediately. I explained the situation and how I stopped to take care of my elderly aunt. He approached the car in a threatening manner and insisted again that we leave his property. Feeling threatened, I assisted my aunt in closing the car door, got back into the car and tried to drive away. He blocked us from making a turn around in his parking lot and insisted that we back out on the busy road. He continued to verbally abuse us as we drove way.
In a world where one usually finds common courtesy, this was unacceptable.
