In November of 2008 requested info and help with loan modification. Agent Mike LeGrand called me every day for almost a week requesting that I use their services to get process started for loan mod. Supposedly they had checked with the atty. and it was determined that something could be done. Finially sent them the requested $2000.00 to to get modification started.
After they received the $ I called them numerous times and could never get in touch with anyone. Requests for return call was never forthcoming. It was almost 3 months before they answered and at this time was told that Gretchen Fox, atty. had taken over the file as a courtesy. A couple of days later was notified that she could not do anything. Nothing had been at all for the entire time.
I was never offered my money back as a courtesy!
This group and this attorney are scam artists!

6/23/08 spoke with Gary Arnold who assured me he could consolidate my Mother's debt into a 400-500.00 mortgage payment, but he needed $1000.oo within a 2 wk period in order to begin his work. On 6/23/08 I express mailed a check for $500.00 (I have cancelled check) and on 7/6/08 I express mailed another 500.00. The cost for the expressmail totalled $48.00. I have sent numerous faxes which has cost me approximately 75.00. My last contact was Armi Trinidad on 11/4/08. She claimed I had to fax more paperwork at a cost of 20.00. On 8/27/08 I called Mason and spoke with Diane Graham who said I had to deal with Robin or Jaunita. On 8/27/08 Robin said the paperwork was ready to be submitted to my motgage company--First Franklin Loan Service. I called back on 9/8/08 and they declined the consolidation, saying my Mother's debt exceeded her income, therefore they wanted me to provide more proof of income, which I did over the phone on 9/8/08. On 11/5/08 I faxed more proof of income. This runaround by Mason has been going on since 6/23/08. They have my $1000.00 and have done absolutely nothing for me. Now I am 7 months in arrears on the mortgage as I was told by Gary not to pay the motgage for 4 months. Hence, I now face foreclosure proceedings, I am out another 1100.00, and receive no correspondence from Mason Capital Group. They have done nothing but scammed me and taken my $. I am outraged and facing serious problems. I demand my $1000.00 plus aprox. 100.00 in express mail fees I have incurred. There should be a class action suit against this scam company and the Attorney General of CA must take action against them. Can anyone please help me? Sincerely, Cynthia Salmieri
