do not work here.

everyone who works there (including the management) is nuts. if you want to bust your ass at work & deal with catty women all day while getting minimum wage, go for it.

you'll never get a raise and anyone who is a family "friend" will be paid substantially more than you, even if you're a hard worker and loyal to the store. i saw family "friends" literally sit down all day, play a PSP and refuse to help out. they were being paid at least $2-5 more per hour than myself.

just because it is a toy store doesn't mean it's a happy environment. people literally stealing hours/pay (the management knew and let it happen, while punishing the ones who brought it to their attention), major substance abuse issues and all around bitchy, back-stabbing behavior is expected from the employees here.

also, if you want mass ave toys to make a donation to your organization and you're pro-choice or pro-obama, forget about it. multiple organizations were turned down because the management is anti-abortion and very conservative/right-wing "Christian".

expect to be cornered and bullied to speak against your coworkers. that happened to me multiple times.

some coworkers would tell my boss that i was texting or on the computer, when in fact, i was re-stocking or whatever and they were the ones on the phone with their boyfriend or something. i would get in trouble.

all in all, don't work here. i wasted too much time here. i met a few cool employees during my employment, and all of them have left.
