Long and anoying story.
I hav placed order online using matmonster.com. I have ordered wrestling shoes for my brother he is a proffesional wrestler. I Wanted to please him and make him a bit more happier then he is. Well I have placed order on 24th of OCtober 2009. Providing matmonster.com is online store and seemed to be respectable, I was very much sure the should not be a problem. Four days had gone since I have placed order online and no one contacted me about goods were dispatched or at least confirm about order acceptance or any other outcome. I was quied surprised when when on the 11th of Novemver 2009 I have received an e-mail where matmonster.com employee was apologising for inconvenience and askign me to pay extra for delivery as their shipping cost was not calculated corect from the start. I have thought fair enough. I will pay reasonable amount extra just to get wrestling shoes on time before competition my brother were about to take place in. So I have confirmed the extra charge. My bank account was charged same day 11th of November. Then on the 18th of November 2009 I have received an e-mail from matmonster.com saying apparently first order can not be shipped to the address different than billing. I was gutted. I leave in GB and my brother in Ukraine. What is the point for me to get wrestling shoes shiped to my home address in GB when it was a present for my brother plus delays in addition... I have replied to amtmonster.com customer services asking them to cancell the order as I am verry unhappy with such services. Request to cancel order and refund money I have sent same day 18th of November 2009. Further more I have received and e-mail from matmonster customer services saying item I have ordered is out of stock and not due until November 24th and later January 2010. First I have thought it is online froudsters. But then realised it is the way matmonster decided to do business with me. Even though I have asked to cancell the order... On the 20th of November I have received an e-mail from matmonster customer services again confirming they will refund money within 4 business days as my bank card (account) allows such transactions. On the 24th of November I have received another e-mail from matmonster.com customer services apologising for delays in refund. On the 26th I have sent a reminder about money not being repaid to me as of yet, even though 4 business days has gone. Then on the 27th another e-mail from matmonster.com customer services asking me to wait until 3rd of December 2009. Most of the e-mail I have received from matmonster was undersigned by diferent names. Whenever I have called asking to to talk to the certain person, I was told not in the office. To be honest I am tired now. Please advise what legal actions I can take, and who governes such online services. As a proof I have e-mails kept. Will upload upon request if advise and help provided.
