security breach with no ressponse
August 13, 2009
hacked and no reply
Within 48 hours of subscribing to this website, my account was hijacked. Customer Service indicated I would be contacted within 72 hours and that I would get an e-mail detailing process. Multiple calls later and past the dealine, I have received no e-mails, no call, and no refund from the company. Worst customer service follow-up I have ever experienced!

Scam
What a pitty that you are not responsive to the needs of your members:
1) Geographic Location: Example, I live in SACRAMENTO, California, you refer matches that live in other states in USA or London!
2) AGE CRITERIA: I am 62 years, like to meet women between 49 to 59 years old. You mail me matches in their 20's, 30's, or senior citizen in their 65-75 range.
3) TECHNICAL SUPPORT, Customer Services, two weeks ago, said, "We have Technical Support problem." I wonder if you have RESPONSIBLE people to get the job done. Once upon a time, you were quite efficient. Alas, you are no longer responsive, alert, coherent or logical.
REMEMBER, I still live in SACRAMENTO, CA, not in Louisiana, Alabama, New Mexico, or London. Match me with people who live in Greater Sacramento or Bay Area San Francisco.

Online scam
If you sign up with match.com for 1 month your subscription will automatically get renewed every month without any notification. Money will be taken directly from your account without your permission. The consumer should be protected from companies that deliberately set out to deceive the consumer in order to make more money.

singles interested
They sent me an e-mail claiming that someone was interested but they are doing this in an effort to try and sign me up for paid service. Very dishonest and manipulative.

Keep charging my credit card after cancel
I have tried for MONTHS to cancel my membership and get refunds. They claim if you don't find a match in six months they will give you six months free. They don't. It's a scam. Don't fall prey to these scam artists.

psycho con man
there's a man on there named Thomas Salerno but his real name is Thomas Edward Schroeder Jr. and he lives in Citrus Heights. He's a con man and was just released from prison in August 2008. He's a stalker and will threaten to kill you if you upset him. He's been in and out of prison his entire life and he does drugs. Be AWARE women! Match.com does nothing about his stalking. He's on ALL internet dating sites!

They put the wrong person's picture to my profile and are refusing to refund the money they so happily charged me. The lady in the attached picture isn't me, looks nothing like me, and I think the whole thing is a SCAM!!!

False Advertisement
They had an offer that if you don't find a match, you get six months free. Sounds good right? No!!! I know that being an Asian that I would not get many matches since I was looking for Caucasian women. So I wrote my profile asking for a typical Barbie type woman. Sure enough none replied because no Caucasian woman would want be seen with an Asian man because it would look stranger than a Caucasian woman with a Latin or Black man. A month after the six months, I was billed. I asked Match.com why I am being billed when I did not match with someone, and they claimed that taking to a potential match was considered a fulfillment of their promotion. BS!!! Bunch of scammers in Dallas, Texas where Match.com is headquartered. Never will I trust a web site dating company for all they have are a bunch of racist who can't live in a globally cultured world and will steal your money for it. If they are that successful, why not give us their statisics of that for public viewing? It is because they have none!

prostitution?
I signed up and paid for Match.com while making connections online, I noticed three "women" in different towns in my area posted identical postings, right down to there tagline something like. where is my prince charming, I am waiting. they were posted at the same time. None of them filled out personal info, just there age and who they were seeking: men 30 to 60 . there is a button you can click if something looks fishy. so I click on all three, it was obviously bullshit postings. a couple days later, my account is blocked and " referred to corporate headquarters? they wouldn't tell me why I was blocked. but my sight and interactions were perfectly clean and within the rules of Match.com. the complaint notifications I sent are the only thing it could be. In the couple days before my ban, I noticed they did nothing on those women's posts the long and the short of it is Match doesn't want agitators, and supports prostitution on their websight if is brings in revenue. It is a seriously sketchy operation.
